If I could give them a minus star rating I would. Allure just got here and it doesn’t look good. Her portal is bug riddled and Jill Morgan has yet to make an appearance here. We got our financial statement and surprise! We are facing a potential 18k special assessment. I had high hopes that they would live up to their service guarantee and help out our dysfunctional Board, but so far they have not. This is the condition of the property. You decide.

Jill Morgan and Allure Management are obstructing a homeowner from selling their property by refusing to provide the SB-326 Report, which her company ordered and is legally required as of Jan 1, 2025. Without this document, any client using conventional financing and obtaining a mortgage cannot proceed with the transaction. Furthermore, she has repeatedly declined to provide the report to the seller, who is an owner and has made multiple requests for it. It is her responsibility to act in the homeowner's best interest, yet this obligation is being neglected.

I really miss our old property management company and our property manager. Going from a gold tiered company to this is not even comprehensible. Absolutely no communication with this company. We will do our diligence to not recommend them during our next session. Liars and not competent at their work. Much better service out there. First residential was such a delight compared to this company.

Absolutely the WORST management company I've ever had to deal with. We will do everything we can to get our HOA to change to a different company. Lazy AND INEPT, aren't strong enough words to describe them. These people make it almost impossible to do business with them. They even blacked out their office windows so they can hide from all the people they are supposed to be serving. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. RUN FAR AWAY. They way they're operating should be illegal.

I don’t even care enough about these things to leave reviews for anything… but ALLURE TOTAL (mis)MANAGEMENT deserves to be the exception. This is by far the most frustrating, irritating, and unprofessional company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Customer service is non existent, and I quote, “customer service is not what we do here.” Obviously! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Absolute worst management company i have ever had to deal with. When a home owner reaches out they dismiss them and then wonder why they get frustrated and instead of trying to diffuse the frustration they try to make it worse. They actually try to make it worse. Good luck speaking to someone or getting any help. They do nothing but put you to voicemail, even when you ask to speak to a person. I have so many examples of this with Allure. too many actually. I hate knowing that I help pay for these rude individuals paychecks and for this company to be in business.
I have not been able to get in the gate that leads to my home for nearly 3 weeks now and instead of picking up the phone they email when they feel like it - no sense of urgency what so ever. Nothing gets done to solve it. They continue to put it back in the homeowner and ask the homeowner to put out more money to solve it on their own.
Yes they are in it for the HOA and don't give two cents about the homeowners needs and they refuse to allow you to work with the HOA.
I wouldn't recommend them. I would stay as far away from them as possible. Waste of
Your money as a homeowner.

Jill, this is a review of my experience with your employees. You are very wrong. This IS the correct platform. Had your employees not been so rude this would not be here.

Here's how the very first month of having Allure "manage" our property has gone:

STRIKE 1: We had 12 garage door break-ins, due to a lack of aggressive security measures to protect our residents. No follow up warning letters or notices provided to residents.

STRIKE 2: We have multiple building light outages and a lighting contractor that hasn't been executing their job during the past 9-months. After several inquiries about lack of lighting, Allure questioned the validity our our complaints and even defended a dead-beat contractor that doesn't execute!

STRIKE 3: Our pool was recently closed for a period of roughly 2-weeks due to rodent infestations. When I reported this to Jill, she told me the City closed the pool for other reasons & she told me it wasn't rodents. (See attached sign) Had she visited the property & took my word - instead of challenging me, she'd know about our rat problem.

STRIKE 4: Jill, once again, defiantly challenged me - an owner that pays her salary along with other owners - about an HOA matter. I asked her to show me proof in the CC&Rs and after wasting 1/2 day of round-about emails denying my requests, she told me that "she can't offer me legal advice or an opinion." She then emailed me saying "it's a closed matter."

STRIKE 5: Trying to reach a live person at Allure is nearly impossible. I've gotten through one time (after several tries) and the line was never picked up by Jill or Ralph. It's frightening to think of how they would respond during an actual emergency. Oh, I know: Call 911, they handle emergencies.

Lots of red flags with Allure. They are defiant, arrogant, opaque, and they are well on their way to being fired. Stay tuned.

We (landlords) were written up because Allure said our tenant had his dog off leash in a common area. Allure asks us to fill out a form saying the issue is fixed, etc or there will be a fine. We sent said form in within a couple days of receiving the letter and well before the next board meeting and asked some information about the offending pup as well, as we know some of the neighbors let their dogs out often without leashes. Up until this point, all is fine. So far, this is how an HOA management company should work.

But then... We get a reply from Allure saying our form was received and then about 3 weeks later we get a "fine levied notice" saying that we did not comply to their request and we're being fined $100 for this.

I called (yes, undocumented, but I wanted to get ahold of someone since it takes days for them to reply to email) and then wrote them an email asking them to review this decision, pointing out past email correspondence, etc and asking how we're not in compliance and the only response I received was "The Board had the opportunity to review your correspondence during their last meeting, and have denied your request." No explanation of anything.

So what I got from them was "your tenant (supposedly) had his dog off leash once (first time offence) and agreed to always have his dog on leash in common areas. We're going to fine you anyway and never give you any explanation, reasoning, or even so much as a person you can talk to to get such information," I've called 4 times over the past month and each time they've agreed with me that this was ridiculous, but said all they could do was pass the information on to the board.

My HOA transitioned to Allure a year or two ago. The past HOA management company had no problems addressing these issues without needing to go to the board, especially when the issues are as trivial as these are.

If you're in a position to influence the choice of management companies managing your HOA, put a hard foot down on Allure. Unresponsive and irresponsible.
