We rented a house for 5 years in San Marcos under Ambassador's 'management'. Never been late on any payments, we took care of the home like it was ours. 3 years into our lease the landlord asked us to deal with her directly as she felt the company was marking everything up and she didn’t trust Ambassador. Upon our move out they deducted from our deposit for made-up stuff-luckily we had very good documentation, pictures etc. I asked them nicely to refund it but they forced me to sue them in small claims to get our money back. A year later we got a judgment and our money. Would not recommend.
Apparently the broker/owner is a real estate attorney, yet loses in small claims court. Tells you the story...total fail! If you are renting from them, document everything and make sure everything is in writing.

Ambassador Property Management helped us find and keep a good tenant with their excellent service. They were on the ball and helped us deal with a picky tenant. We're selling our rental unit but if ever we have another one, we would definitely work with them again. Jessica Baru was great to work with.

I would NEVER refer someone to Ambassador property management. They totally screwed us over. After touring a condo and applying, we were called and told we had been approved and could move in 4 days from said call. After packing up our entire house, renting a uhaul and preparing to sign the lease and move in same day, we were told the owner had never actually approved us. Jessica told me she would work hard helping us find an alternative place to live and for 3 days I contacted her and left messages which she never returned. Luckily we found a much better place without the help of ambassador. Oh and if Jessica is reading this, thanks for not calling me back. Worked out for us after all!
