I’ve been working with American Family Homes for over two years now, and they’ve consistently gone above and beyond for me. Kyle and Marion are exceptional people — they always answer my calls and texts promptly and handle everything quickly and professionally. Anytime I’ve had an issue with my home or tenants, they not only keep me informed but already have a solution lined up, just waiting for my approval. They always look out for my best interest and keep me updated on the most affordable, reasonable options.

I’ve also seen some of the recent reviews from others, and I completely disagree with the negative feedback. My experience has been nothing but positive. Some people just don’t realize how good they have it with this company, especially with their fair and reasonable property management fees. I couldn’t imagine working with anyone other than Kyle and Marion, and I’ll continue doing business with them for all of my properties. They do a fantastic job at finding quality tenants and making property management stress-free. Highly recommend!

AWFUL! My apartment is under management of AFH (working with Marion & Kyle). We are currently facing a mice infestation - in the past we've dealt with broken fixtures, leaky plumbing resulting in flooding (and thousands $$$ in damages), and a general lack of urgency or responsiveness.

I have an open work order that has not been responded to in 5+ months. Average work order completion time is 6+ weeks. Nothing will get done unless you consistently remind the AFH team to do so. By far the least professional property management company I have dealt with.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH KYLE AND MARION!!! This company is unorganized and simply doesn’t care.

We’ve been trying to get timely responses to fix a large hole in our wall where the washing machine lines run. Because of this hole in the wall our washer has leaked down on our neighbors apt. They still have not fixed this.

NOW WE HAVE MICE!! There is another gap in the wall in our kitchen and they are entering from there. We’ve had to buy our own traps and working to get a response from them. OUTRAGEOUS

TO GET ANYTHING DONE YOU HAVE TO TEXT KYLE AND MARION 5-10 TIMES.FINALLY THEY SEND SOMEONE OUT WHO HAS NO IDEA WHAT THE PROBLEM IS ANS DOESNT FIX THE ISSUE.

THESE ARE JUST THE ISSUES WEVE FACE SINCE WEVE BEEN IN. I won’t even mention how bad the move in process was.

This company is unorganized and simply doesn’t care.

As new to the area, my family and I appreciated Jeff's expertise and long time experience of finding a place to live in San Diego. Jeff and his team knew all the areas north and south and every hidden neighborhood in between.
