I love discovering the incredible wines at American Wine Project, and I must say, Erin Rasmussen's passion and dedication to her craft are truly inspiring. What I love most about her wines is their smooth, approachable nature that leaves you wanting more. My personal favorites include Sound of Memory, Switch Theory, and Antipodes. The winery itself, located in historic Mineral Point, Wisconsin, is a beautiful reflection of Erin's vision. The tasting room and gardens offer a welcoming space to explore her creations, catch up with friends, or just sit and chat with new people.
Overall, American Wine Project is more than just a winery; it's a journey of discovery and innovation. If you're looking for wines that challenge your palate and inspire your senses, this is definitely a place to explore.

I LOVE American Wine Project! We had a small wedding ceremony this past weekend and picked up a case of wine in Mineral Point ahead of time. This was our second time there and loved both visits. Our guests at our ceremony loved the wines we selected (with help from the AWP team. πŸ’š

We really enjoyed the wine at this location. Most of the wines finish a little tart…so a great refreshing summer option.

They have a cute location with lots of space. It seems like they have lots of potential on how to use it all.

We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Also, make sure to say high to Jack, the four-legged welcoming committee!

Great wines (I particularly love Sympathetic Magic), yummy cocktails (the raspberry mint spritz today was perfect for hanging in the beautiful gardens) and a lovely space to relax. Cute T-shirts, too!

Shared several wine flights with friends for a quick day trip out of Madison. Staff were very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend Switch Theory and Sympathetic Magic!

While the service was great and the atmosphere was inviting, we didn't find any of the wines to our tastes. Make the trip to Spurgeon Winery instead.

I love this place! It's chic, modern yet vintage, has a beautiful garden, so many great sitting choices, and the wine is exceptional (no sugars added!). My now husband and I had the privilege of having our wedding rehearsal dinner here, and everyone had so much fun. Anna was wonderful to work with! The extra special touches did not go unnoticed, from the outdoor game set up, the gourmet snack table, the fireplace care, the bouquet of fresh flowers, to the quality wine (and local beer choices, too) and hospitality. We're so grateful and highly recommend the American Wine Project for an afternoon with friends (or alone) and for events!
