I’ve been a member of Andrews Federal Credit Union for almost 15 years, but my experience today was beyond disappointing. I went into the branch to get a cashier’s check for my rent on my move-in day, but because I had an out-of-state ID, I was treated with skepticism and made to feel like a criminal. I understand security precautions, but the look on the employee’s face when I provided my ID made me extremely uncomfortable, as if I was doing something wrong for withdrawing my own money. I’m moving back to the area and would love to have an in-state ID, but that’s hard to do if I can’t even access my account to pay rent. This experience really left a bad impression, especially after being a loyal member for so long.

Again, I appreciate they extra level of precaution, but you always want to make the member feel like a member even if you need to get some additional information to verify their identity.

I usually go to the Andrews on Allentown road. After relocating jobs I’m closer to the Kingstowne location. I have visited this branch three times. Each time everyone is always so friendly. They get you in and out. It’s a very clean and friendly environment even for when you have your children. I had the pleasure each time working with Ms.Linda. She’s very helpful. This is my new favorite location =)
