Back in 2023, I took my children here. One of my children was crying and screaming, just a 5 year old scared of the doctors. I did my best to console my child so she wouldn't disturb the other patients or staff and of course to ease her own nerves. She finally calmed down about 5 mins in and we finished our appointment. When we left, before we were even out the door, one of the young office girls were gossiping about me and my child. She couldn't even wait for us to walk out the front door. It was so hurtful and my 5 year old who was old enough to comprehend and hear everything was left embarrassed and hurt as well. It's now 2025, and I still think about my experience there and even 2 years later it makes me really sad. I turned around and made eye contact with the girl and all she did was give an embarrassed laugh. No apology, she new what she did was unprofessional and just mean and all she could do was awkwardly laugh it off like a coward.

Absolute best experience with staff and Doctor! Quick and efficient care. Everyone was friendly and helpful. All of my concerns were addressed and answered in depth. My husband went to Dr.Yip as a child and now our son goes to him. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for an awesome pediatrician!

Office staff is NOT very nice, as if they lack empathy, is not what they say or deny you but how they say it. I ran late for an appointment for 3 of my kids and I had two at 2:00 and one at 2:30 since I was 18 mins late they could only see one child, but it was not the first time that i felt I was treated with that sort of dryness and not treated kindly. So I left and am planning on switching doctors. I’m not even going to bother leaving suggestions on how they can just be nicer but its not that hard to change some words around and making moms feel like they care.

I can’t say enough about this office. I’m a first time mom and probably call/go in weekly with questions or concerns & they are always eager to help & very patient with me. Everyone in the office is helpful and always get me & my daughter in quick. Highly recommend!

I called to make a newborn appointment and after asking if my child was born in a birthing center or in a hospital, (he was born in a birthing center) without asking any other questions, I was put on hold for 5 minutes and then told that they aren’t taking “birthing center babies right now.” What kind of discrimination is that? And what kind of ASSUMPTIONS are being made about myself and my child that they felt the audacity to be able to say that to me without any further inquiry or explanation?

Uncaring staff!
The pediatrician is good, but not worth 5 stars due to the office staff.. whoever is answering their phones is usually rude. We've called them numerous times for appointments and questions when my grandson has been ill. They'll literally hang up when in mid sentence. My daughter called to see if they needed a follow up appointment after being in the ER, when grandson had fever of 102. They rudely informed her that they already have his information then hung up. She wanted to know what else she could do to help her son feel better sooner, but they obviously don't care. Which isn't something you want from your pediatricians office. In fact, it's the complete opposite. I hope this office staff develops a caring customer service approach. You're talking to parents, some very new, they're calling because they care about their children and some are concerned and worried, maybe don't make it worse? Just a thought.

This place was recommended by the hospital staff. My experience the Staff at Angel Pediatric, was poor. Everyone that I had contact with, minus the nurse practitioner had a very dry personality, place was small and run down, not a welcoming environment. Charged a $100 just to weigh my 1 week old. I won’t be back.

Had our first experience with this office and so far from the first phone call to the first visit, it’s all been a really good experience so far. I first called to establish my child as a pt. Alyssa on the phone was absolutely wonderful. Super sweet and patient with all my questions. Helped explain the process for me and what to do. Highly recommend her!

Had to come in for a sick visit and was seen that morning. They have two entrances - one for well kids and one for sick kids. The wait was not long at all to be put into a waiting room or to be seen by the Dr. I thought we’d get seen by a nurse or a PA but we got seen by Dr. Rosenthal. She was super sweet, funny and great with my child. Really helpful and patient and spent a good amount of time with us. We didn’t feel rushed at all.

The only thing I thought could be better would be to make the waiting room and patient rooms a little more kid-friendly with something as simple as more wall decals. It would help the kids be more comfortable and less scared when they first get there. The waiting room was like an adult one - plain walls and nothing fun for them. The patient room we got was the same way (we did see one that had some decorations). My kid was looking forward to a themed room like her old Dr. Minor but just prepare your kids if it’s the first time.

Overall though, Between all the staff that has answered the phone, been at the front, and the back office, good experience so far!
