This has to be the worse experience these guys are just a collecting agency. I have emailed the property manager Mel and called the office several times left several messages to resolve a issue. Not one returned email or phone call. My House is on the line over a lack of communication. YALL SUCK and are INHUMANE!!!!! How can you have a update acct showing I don't have a outstanding balance and not report it to your own lawyer. My house has been unoccupied since last august no phone call nothing. I have reached out. I did my part but you sit back and let me go through this. Its Ok though I will come out clean but y'all are very unprofessional for this

API has been nothing but respectful and extraordinarily helpful for the period of time that they've been our management company. They are easy to get a hold of for questions and are always available to visit in person if asked. Unfortunately, as stated in another post, a young man (Brandon) has been manipulated and mislead by another owner who has some extreme issues. People in associations know what I'm talking about ( we all have one) Enough said without exposing all the dirty laundry.
I would highly recommend anyone looking for a management company to consider API. They play by the rules.

Mel Livingston is the most unprofessional property manager in the business. The sad think is that he will never be fired from API since his mother owns the company... Our association is now non-compliant with even the lowest of HOA guideline standards. No meetings, fraudulent billing practices, well with Mel Livingstone the list of noncompliance goes on. STAY FAR AWAY!!! from this company and their bottom feeding lawyer Rothman and Associates. I have even been approached by other HOA's regarding their terrible experiences with API.. I would not even give API 1 star but that's as low of a score you can give them!!

These people manage our HOA. We have been reporting multiple violations of the CC&Rs by our neighbors - open fires in the front driveway, parties until 2am, drug dealing and smoking around the property, dangerous dogs, you name it - literally since 2013, and they never take any action (apart from, they claim, writing to the owners). We pay these people $80 a month, and they completely fail to enforce their own rules. Avoid like the plague.

I wish there was a negative option instead of a one star.

I have my condo rented out and I was notified by my tenant that the electric gates were changed and would require new remote control units. I contacted API as they manage the property and was told that I should have attended the HOA meeting. I requested via email to a Tom Gutteriz at API three weeks ago that I need two remotes for the new electric gates. Having heard nothing, I called and he was incredibly rude, kept talking over me amd refused to do anything about getting me two new remotes. Meanwhile, my renter is very upset because he has no access to get in.

Tom sounded especially gleeful over my distress amd I am sure that if my name was Garcia he would have tried to help, therefore, I can only conclude that he is a racist based on his goading and sarcastic manner. He said that I have an accent and he couldn't understand me.

How a business stays in business giving this kind of rude and unprofessional service is behind me.

I am filing a complaint with the Dept. of Real Estate. My renters still have no access to get in.

API property management is the worst rip off there is they embezzled hundreds thousand of dollars, trashed our property, impounded our vehicles, and turned our life into hell in our property.
Mill Livingston, the Manager, is a menace to all management business and to all of us.

We have had multiple attempts to get responses from them about voting, quarterly meetings, and overall general information and they rarely respond.

Had them almost 2 years now and we can't seem to get rid of them because they won't hold elections that count, locking us in this never ending nightmare of a battle wasting everyone's time. Keep in mind we have 2/3 of the units trying to actively leave them and we still can't.

Run away, run far far away.

This company is Fraudulent. They do not respect the CC&Rs of any HOA, moreover, make false claims on how money is spent.
