Absolutely amazing staff here. I walked in with a cane, 30-35 lbs of unwanted weight, and bad back pain. After 20 visits, I’ve lost 30 lbs, I am finally active again, and most importantly PAIN FREE and it was all thanks to the entire staff. I’m actually sad I no longer have a reason to go there twice a week, but beyond grateful to them.

If you're needing long term chronic care, this is not the place unless you're open to extreme back surgery. They milked my insurance of chiro care and rehab. I wasn't informed until weeks later that the chiro wasn't actually going to help me since I didn't have unlimited visits to see him. SO WHY WOULD I START? This is my second pain specialist. The first already put me through rehab and cortisone shots. He said there was no helping my back so I looked for another specialist. Arizona pain then put me through the same exact routine, even though they had my very recent records showing I already did all that. That should have been my first red flag.. I was told by Megan to quit marijuana so we could get me back onto tramadol as it seemed we were nearing an end in things we can actually do to help me. I asked for an alternative to that but she suggested we stick with it since it worked in the past. After then going through the process of quitting (I consumed for anxiety, depression, pain, adhd etc. So it was big for me to quit and I told her that.) and after many chiro and rehab visits, they turned me away saying she was no longer comfortable going the medication route... I was extremely upset and confused. I told them I didn't want the meds to begin with but it seemed the only safety net for when my back goes out, flares up, or on vacation was just that. But no. I don't want back surgery, and that was my only option with them. So I was given the choice of extreme intervention potentially crippling me or nothing at all. They refused care after lying about the process. I don't understand where they went wrong in communication and processes, but this was an extreme waste of time and an extreme toll of emotional labor. Oh also I have to mention that Brooklyn (the woman I had this conversation with) told me I had fibromyalgia. I said what, I do!? And she said "that's what Megan said you told her on your first visit, so she suggests referring you out to a fibro specialist." I said I absolutely did not. You guys have my records, saw the MRI and took xrays yourself. Do I actually have fibromyalgia or did she just fail to actually look at my mri, xrays etc? Potentially mix me up with another patient? I'm blown away by the lack of care and refusal of help other than back surgery.

As a side note, the rehab young lady was kind but she knew very little when asking for alternative movements and stretches to help specific spots. She was the only person that worked there for rehab, and was fresh out of school. Again she was nice but they need to hire an additional person with more experience to help people. Only come here if you need rehab for something actually fixable and short term, but even then, question everything and monitor your own health care with them.

Arizona Pain wasted my partners time and put her through so much unnecessary grief and pain. I believe they committed insurance fraud.

They didn't properly review prior medical records nor did they make appropriate documentation. They had her repeat rehab amongst other things that she just finished doing with another Dr. just a few months prior. They also acused her of stating that she had fibromyalgia which is false, records would prove that immediately.

They declined already offered planned care of medication and didn't offer her any alternative care other than back surgery. After going back on that planned care, they then tried to refer her to a fibromyalgia specialist. But like I said, she doesn't have fibromyalgia. They had recent medical records while also putting her through additional unnecessary xrays (her last ones were just a few months prior), so they should have known they were mixing her up with a different patient.

They put her through limited chiropractic appointments knowing that it wouldn't be sufficient to help her by any means, allowing them to pocket the money without actually assisting her. She was in increased pain for weeks doing the rehab and chiro that she had already done a few months prior but stuck to it hoping they'd get her to some sort of long term pain relief.

They told her she would have to do invasive, life-altering back surgery or nothing at all. They are cruel and incompetent. I'm as heartbroken as I'm angry.

It was difficult adding all the issues in one review, but this is the sum up as jumbled as it may be.

I now am feeling much better after just two visits to AZ Pain. The whole staff is very friendly and professional. Special shout out to Michelle, she is wonderful to work with.

I couldn’t be happier with the care that I received at Arizona Pain Relief in Anthem. For me, after following the treatment plan I was prescribed, my pain completely subsided. I was thoroughly impressed with the consistent care and respect that I was shown each visit by Dr. Frogley and my Physical Therapist, Mike. I would also be amiss if I didn’t mention the fantastic front office staff! By far some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. Every time I arrived, I was greeted by name and, although I’m sure they interact with many patients, their personalized touch made me feel welcome and appreciated. I highly recommend Arizona Pain Relief if you’re searching for compassionate and effective treatment for your pain.
