Our experiences with Arvest Mortgage have been beyond terrible for the last 4.5 years. All of the way to getting the mortgage with Phillip. He literally forgot our loan 3 times. Twice I was at the title company ready to sign to find out that he had forgotten the loan. This is well documented as it happened nearly 5 years ago. Forward to now we are trying to get a loan but our credit show tons of late payments. I am on autopay. How are we on auto pay but still having late payments? We are going to miss out on buying our dream home because Arvest keeps screwing us. Arvest bank is apparently a good bank but their mortgage division is terrible. If you are looking for a lender in central Arkansas do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else.

Might be an ok bank but in 2025 they have a webpage that belongs in the dialup days. Every month I spend half an hour signing into my account so I can pay my mortgage. After countless tries, the same password and username work. The sign on page directs to a page that says it has expired. The only solution is to keep retrying... I could set up auto payment but their tech skills scare me way too much to trust them with that. Very frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend this lender.

Arvest Bank makes all aspects of banking enjoyable, with mortgages being no exception. I worked with a great loan officer while buying my first house. He was always available when I needed him, very communicative, and provided as much transparency as he could throughout. He always made sure that I understood everything while not worrying about anything. I've honestly been very happy with Arvest bank overall, for many reasons. Their customer service is head and shoulders above their competition, and it's no surprise, seeing how they have good people like him representing their mortgage division. Highly recommend.
