Edit - I emailed their customer service on 3/19/25. Waiting for a response.

Our unit has a shared fence that is broken and we have been trying to get our HOA to fix it for the last 5 months and each time we reach out other our community manager, we get the answer "they are still deciding on the matter." The community manager never provides an update and we constantly have to reach out again to ask on the matter. This is a safety issue; kids can't use the yard because there is broken wood, the whole thing looks like it's about to collapse and there is no privacy as the broken fence lets you see right into the neighbor's yard. Their byline is "Customer service is our number one priority" which right now, seems like a total joke.

We also have a morning glory invasion thanks to the grounds surrounding the complex. Imagine paying $400+ a month in HOA fees and having to live with this for 5+ months.

Melissa Sim and Ronni Schenk are both super nice and accommodating. I sincerely appreciate the assistance they have provided me. My garage door was opening every time a resident opened the back gate! Through Melissa, I was able to meet up with Ronni and the receptionist in Pleasanton to discuss my situation and they were very helpful.

I'm rating 4 stars at this time, due to Associa Northern CA being fairly new to my community and my interaction with them, as well. However, as time progressed, the communication technology (TownSq and administrative email responses) has proven to be very satisfactory and refined! It appears the newness has settled and at some point, I will submit another review for a comparison. Our Association is being handled by Johan Jan from Associa. It has been an absolute pleasure working with him over the past year. It has been a night and day difference in terms of efficiency, turn around time and ease of communication when compared to our previous association owners. Johan has made the process of being a board member smooth and not feel like a burden. We accomplished a lot in terms of getting the neighborhood under order with his help.

I have lived in the Northshore Condominiums for 10 years and we have gone through several HOAs in that time. This is the best one hands down. I have had the pleasure of speaking to both managers (Kerry and Keree) and they are wonderful. They are attentive to detail, knowledgeable, and professional. I hope we stay with this company for a long time!

It is an awful experience. We would be asked to provide HOA master insurance policy to our mortgagee bank. It always take a lot of trouble because of no response or people no longer handle the issue. Our HOA payments were charged timely each monthly, but the services is way behind.
