Sarah is the best bank teller EVER. She helped me with everything I need for study abroad in less than 30 minutes, and she helped me to understand the forms throughout the process. She was so kind to me even though I was a bit frazzled. I have had mixed experiences with other employees at this location (lowering my rating), but I would give Sarah 5 stars.

Update: After speaking with someone in customer support, they were able to resolve ALL of my issues outlined below in less than a business day. Updated star rating as well.

I've banked with Associated since 2007 and had the single worst experience I've ever had with a business two days ago.

I have been fighting hundreds of dollars in fraudulent activity which is currently under review. However, I am floating all of those charges until Associated Bank can sort it out. No temporary credit, nothing.

I took out a small line of credit to help cover these expenses until the fraud situation was resolved. Long story short, that money was deposited into a closed account and Associated Bank applied it a business balance without my permission. The Manager quite literally told me there was nothing they could do. I paid hundreds of dollars in fees because of all of this, and I eat it all. Associated Bank is profiting off my misfortune. Might as well go Bank at Chase or Wells Fargo, Associated Bank isn't a hometown establishment anymore.

This is the best bank in the area by far. Top notch service. Had a bad day, got slapped with a speeding ticket and then by the wife. Went to the store, realized I had an overdraft fee listed on my broke account... didn't tell the wife, stressed, called this bank and the team told me not to worry and that they'd refund the fee. Okay, second story... I saw a ridiculous charge on my account from some strip club in Missouri called "Chubbies", yeah I had to look that up, but the wife slapped me again. So I called this bank and the heroes said don't worry about it, we'll refund a credit to your account. (Thank God). And by golly they did it in minutes, and investigated how it was charged in the first place. Never had issues again. Good job, good wife, good life

I have been banking here for over 25 years.
There is a very lovely and talented group of people at this branch.
I always get fast service and I am always greeted with a smile & hello.
I like the banking here also for getting a loan as I had no problems in doing that.
The personal banker was polite and offered me many options based on my Credit Score.
I was highly delighted with my personal experience at this bank.
The online banking is very easy to set up and is fast to check your full budget & all checks you wrote out & when paid.
This branch deserves a five star rating based on all I stated here.
Beautiful people, intelligent service & great customer help!
I wouldn't bank anywhere else in Dane County! Amen!

I ordered a large withdrawal last week. Someone called me back and sd..come next Thursday at 2pm. I did and nobody knew what I was talking about. I did get my money as ordered but felt the bank should have known.

Ridiculous. I set up a checking account online and never got a debit card. I called in and the person on the phone told me they had sent it to my previous address, which was never part of that account. It was, several months ago, on the mortgage application my wife and I completed with them. However, the mortgage address has been updated for some time now so that address should have nothing to do with it, particularly because I had to enter my current address when setting up the account.

Ok so that was bad. The person on the phone said they updated my address and my card would be coming soon. Great. Several months go by and nothing.

I stop in to this branch probably in July and tell them that I still haven't gotten debit card. They tell me I can talk to a banker and walk out with one today. Great. I sit with a banker for a while and he works on the computer setting things up you know. He tries to print a card 3 times (each time takes 5 minutes or so) and finally gives up, saying they will mail it to me because they are having problems with the card printer. Ok. Fine. Finally getting resolved after all the BS.

It is now mid September and I have yet to get my debit card. I met somewhat similar, though not quite as bad incompetence with our mortgage account.

I have spoken with 3 representatives from this bank, excluding tellers, and each has failed me on a very simple task. I cannot stress how disappointed I am in this bank.

Been using Associated Bank (Green Bay) for 25 + years and used First Federal (La Crosse) prior to it being purchased by Associated Bank. Great Bank, great service and excellent online banking options. Been using this branch for the last 3 years and they are easy to work with. Like all service organizations you need to be knowledgeable and be prepared to get the right services and best deals for your needs.
