I missed the last bus out of town. Called around 7pm, they said 'HURRY UP' So I rode my bike on all flats to get there. To an intrrrogation, wanting to search all my belongings (no prob it wasnist fried chicken for dinner) and CONFISCATE my phone and
laptop and all electronics from my bag. I needed to make several phone calls to let people know I was safe and book transit home the following day. " out of the question. -- it's a RULE. Rule not to call the hospital Isn't this a RESCUE SHELTER. Not a prison?! Do. Not. Recommend.

God bless all who enter, don't be so quick to judge. I was there for a short time, and they are very grounded in the Lord. It is a house of God, and they who run it are awesome! So if you truely are looking for the right help, this is all God based. God Bless them all who run these homes for us all that are in need. In Jesus name amen

I called this organization shortly after finding myself in the area... I was told at the time the womens house of hope was closed and the men's mission had nothing to offer me. I was redirected to this organization and told I would be provided laundry and shower services.

The upkeep and running of this is absolutely abhorrent. The outreach provided by house members is a great attempt at overcoming obvious issues, with that said.

This place needs HELP!

check updated pics of exteriors.
Hope to see real changes soon.

Place is as close to a cult as you can get, NOTHING GOOD and/or God like about the place can be said, even the homeless people of Astoria give this place a wide berth!

Does not help what so ever yeah sure you get a roof and a meal but you are confined to a single room, have to have an escort to use the rest room, can't have any clothes that involve guns bullets beer or bands that aren't christen, you also cant leave to get your own food from the store or even to go on a walk about for some fresh air and to even go on the porch you need an escort you are also not allowed to use your phone for business or otherwise and the biggest deal breaker YOU CANT HAVE A JOB FOR 95 DAYS. This place is set up so that the "head of the house" can hide behind christianity to rake in the financial benefits while you stagnate in your situation what ever it may be
