Bad customer service!! Waited hours for credit check and couldn't get approved for credit card with excelleng credit score. They offer me 60k loan approval but wasn't qualified for 4k credit card. This bank is joke!!

This place is awful. I have someone in my extended family who is in deep debt. We simply wanted him to go and reestablish his online banking. He went twice and told me he was locked out. I went to confirm this, and was told if he paid off his credit card debt he'd be fine and online banking functionality would be restored. Told to come back in a week if it doesn't work. Did so, came back a week later- still locked out of online banking. Won't tell us why and they tell me they can only interact with the account holder who is incompetent and a known liar to his family. They tell me we need to call a number to talk to the people in the back to see why his online banking isn't restored.

They had me call a number that they said would explain what steps the account holder would need to reestablish his online banking. I called and they told me they would only work with the account holder, even though he authorized me to be a part of the process every step of the way. He's next to me, talking too on the speaker phone... ALL WE WANTED WAS HIS ONLINE BANKING RESTORED! WE EVEN PAID OFF HIS DEBT! THERE IS NO SIMPLER REQUEST! You know what they did? They used my presence... my charity work for his family as a reason to freeze his account. Fine. I'll talk to his family and we'll open an account with someone who isn't clowns this week. They treated me like a thief for trying to get this guy out of debt for love of his family, they treated me like garbage. Worst part? The same guy (Mauricio) who lied about "Oh if you pay off his credit card debt online banking will be restored" is the one who ultimately told me I was not welcome in the store. What a joke! This was the worst possible experience and the worst customer service I've ever seen. This was supposed to be simple.

I was about to open an account with Bay Fed due to my GF's insistence. Now I'll keep my money with a real bank and am so glad I dodged a bullet by doing business with these clowns. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

800 credit score and I couldn't get approved for credit card. I was waiting for an hour or more for them to not able get me an answer. Bad costumer service!!

I love my bank! They offered me a very competitive rate when I was shopping around for a mortgage and they even know me by name! It also doesn't hurt that they are located within walking distance of my house.

This bank is really bad. They've been saying they are replacing the atms that seem to never work for a while now. Three atms only one working with a long line, go inside to find another long line. Other Watsonville location has same problem. Never have this issue in Santa Cruz. Watsonville management is failing big time.
