the worst online services. the phone agents are like robots repeating their stupid guide repeatedly when you ask for something. No managers are available. they have to email them. We went in to fix the online banking . agreed it would be fixed.. nothing has changed. terrible service, incompetent staff and a terrible parking lot in La Mesa. If you enjoy headaches then do bank here.

The absolute worst Credit Union, bank, or business, period! Do not trust your accounts or any business with them EVER! I have had the very unfortunate experience of them holding my car loan. My father cosigned for me, but I have paid every dollar. They will NEVER talk to me directly, even when I called to pay off my account. I over paid from my checking account and they will only reimburse my father. 2 weeks after I got the payoff on my car, they continued taking out my auto payments and when I called to complain, they didn't even follow up with me and it's been over a week! This is a poorly run, horrible banking institution that has no business being in charge of anyone's financial dealings! It's been 6 years, and I have not had a single good thing to say! Each time I have an interaction, it causes stress and brings out levels of anger that are completely unnecessary. I pay the bill, my name is on it, and they make it impossible to navigate and they refuse to speak to me. Even when I have my father on speakerphone with them, they will not even answer me if I ask a question. They will only respond if he asks. Sickening! Ugh.. blood boiling again! JUST DON'T!!!!! They should have all licenses revoked and the doors should be shut!

I would give a 0 if I could. I put my phone number in for acall back me back bc of long hold time but they made me wait and then hung up on me. I gave them 4 chances. They moved their office after 14 years and still do not have one remotely near us. Then they changed their name and have been horrible ever since. What happened! They are not a member of the co-opt either. Please do not go with this credit Union. They should just close down because they hate their customers. I went with Mission Fed, who has given us excellent service and love us. Blue Peak is truly terrible!

Less than one star!

Absolutely one of the worst banks in San Diego DO NOT BANK HERE! No transparency, staff does not know policies and supervisors do not return calls! No branch in southern San Diego, making it extremely difficult to bank. Not only do they not care about their customers there is no professionalism to this institution at all!

First of all, I have had an account at USE for 16 years and my family over 40 years. When they closed the original La Mesa credit union thats when things started to go down hill. Instead of opening a professional branch, they opened this joke of a coffee shop looking place with no parking and 1 teller counter. When you ask an employee for help they point you to the indoor ATM's. If I wanted to use the ATM I would go outside. About a month ago I had an issue with my account and called the number on the back of my card. That number doesn't call USE, it calls a call center that services 10+ credit unions and can't help at all with your account. What happened USE? You have made it harder and harder to get things done. This credit union is not supposed to be for profit and for the members, your CFO needs to fix this unless you want to keep losing members. It looks like the fix is renaming it to BluPeak which sounds like a fly by night investment firm. I have since opened accounts at North Island and guess what? When I walk into the branch the employees actually will help me and it looks like a professional place to do business. Even better is when i call the number on the back of my North Island card, North Island answers! My family has also taken notice in the way BluPeak is going and is slowly moving to other financial institutions.

It recently changed to "Blue Peak" but the experience so far has been Horrible. They hold State Checks funds for over 5 days !! Customer service over the phone is none existent RUDE and disrespectful.
I am not trying to taint what used to be a great all around place... unfortunately those days are over.
What happened? Representatives used to know you.. NOT anymore.
No one helps you they don't give a d**n. Been with them over 20 years. Definitely moving All my family accounts from this place.

I have had a USE account for about 7 years now. It wasn't until it changed to BluPeak that I noticed a big decline on their customer service. I've been trying to make a car payment for the month of August but they have not been able to help me. It's also not allowing me to do so online. Representatives on the phone are not well versed on their job and there never seems to be a manager or supervisor available to further assist. Huge difference from USE Credit Union.

I’m a former USECU member of 30 yrs. The closest branch is now 25 min away. I called the call center once last year and was so frustrated, I nearly closed my accounts. Today I decided to make sure to call the branch directly and had an efficient, smooth and pleasant experience.
