I love that they do emergency food boxes. You can get them up to four times a year. The only issue is that the food in the shop is a bit over priced in my opinion. Bread is a $1 but online it says 75cents and they wanted $10 for a bag of noodles. This is donated items they get for free too. However they do have a lot of good deals in there.

This is the only Food Bank selling food items,. I thought food donations are free. Flowers that are donated and wilted the Mexican lady even asks for donations. People come there to avail of free foods but why are they selling them. ?

Five stars for the love they give! It's great to know we can still find good deals during these challenging times. I recently learned about the Breadbasket food bank of Hemet and decided to check it out for myself. The food bank is open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and offers donated products at a discounted price. You can either pay a small fraction of the original price or receive a free emergency food box up to four times a year. However, it's important to keep in mind that these items are donated and may be nearing their expiration dates, so it's your responsibility to evaluate them before making a purchase. Some of the stores that donate to the food bank include Sprouts, Walmart, and Stater Brothers. Despite the need for caution, it's definitely worth taking the time to investigate what's available at the Breadbasket. There are often treasures to be found, and it feels good to support a good cause while also saving money.

The hardest thing I have ever experienced in life is being homeless God has blessed me and my life is getting back on track and until now I could never understand why God said rejoice and be glad for hard times and persaqtion and that is because we are made in the storm. We'll the workers at the bread basket problem don't even know my name but the workers always were kind to me and they fed me when I had nothing and lifted weights off my shoulders know I would eat that day thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I have found myself in need of assistance for the first time in a very long time. I feel so blessed to find Bread Basket Food Bank. I recieved an emergency food box today. If the need is there I can recieve a free box 4 times a year. I was provided with some fresh food. The box is a good amount of food. They also have food you can purchase for a very reasonable cost. They are open Mondays and Fridays from 9 til 12. The people who work there are very courteous and polite. They did not make me feel like I was a low life person because I asked for and needed a little extra help. All you need to bring is your ID. So I was not embarrassed that I have fallen on hard times. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Bless you.

Love these guys. I recently went by (a month ago) to see what was up with this food bank. I was met by Mrs. Lenee (boy do I know I spelled her name wrong) and Pastor Wayne. They let me know what the food basket was all about and that it was open the next day. I went and was happy i did. They have a good variety of stuff and such low prices you can really help your budget. The best part? No judgement, no forms, no limit. Open to everybody. If that isn't love, what is? Also, they are attached to the church of Acts. It's next door. Service is at 10:30 and the people there are great. It feels like family and they welcome everyone with open arms. I am very happy I decided to stop by.

Since I started going to the Bread Basket I am able to buy items I would normally not be able to buy because of the high price at grocery stores. I have also been able to purchase health food items for a very good price. Everything is on a suggested donation basis only. You must have cash, the exact cash only. I look forward to going shopping at the Bread Basket every week.
