I had a terrible experience with Mavis A. Nkansah. From the moment our interaction started, her attitude was terrible. It took almost 4 hours for her to process the insurance, which is unacceptable. When I asked for assistance, instead of helping, she started breathing hard into the microphone — which came across as rude and unprofessional. If you don’t like your job, maybe it’s time to find another one. All I was looking for was some basic help, and the lack of professionalism and respect made the whole experience even more frustrating. Extremely disappointing.

I have been a client of Burke and Burke insurance and nationwide for 30 years. Today I received a notice that my home insurance is being canceled due to an audit that was performed on my home almost a year ago. The items that they asked me to take care of have been completed for months, but no one from the insurance agency ever checked back up on them. I guess new customers are easy to find now.

The company and my assigned agent are fantastic. They give good advice, found good value insurance plans, and have saved me either money, risk, or hassle every time. And if your assigned agent isn't available, someone knowledgable is always in the office to help you. This is a small town type firm with big city support and resources.

I was actually referred to Burke & Burke by an insurance agent who sells BJ’s warehouse auto and home insurance.
