Just awful. My father died in April and his car was sold. We got bills for the next payment period (he always paid 6 months at a time). I called, as executor and as a courtesy, to let them know the situation. Just so the random bills would stop. I am not going to send in a bunch of paperwork to prove my dad is gone. Just keep sending bills for a gone vehicle. You can't ruin the credit of a dead man.

Extremely negative. Ended up with coverage that cost me MORE when I was trying to save with the milewise plan and tracked a signifigant amount more than just my distant traveled despite the agent stating that would be the only thing tracked. When I tried to switch back to a monthly plan they suddenly can see 2 minor incidents which they already knew about when I signed up that would have skyrocketed my cost to more than $400 per month. Most recently when I had found another provider and emailed Agent Wolfe asking the autorenewal to be canceled and asking about the refund of the remaining amount, he responded that he couldn't until I emailed, faxed, or brought the original Declaration pages to his office despite him having access to that already being the agent I signed up with that printed that off for me. I immediately called the company hotline after who were able to cancel it after. It may be just the particular agent but I feel like I was scammed by this agency and cost me months of a more expensive service that what I needed. This has left a horrible impression upon me of how your company does business and I most likely won't ever be coming back and recommending others do the same

I am so pleased. This office has been incredible! Got better car insurance at a lower rate, everyone was so kind when my car windows got smashed and my purse was stolen. I felt safe and taken care of. Such ease and grace in a difficult situation. Thank you!

Chris was very rude and apparently not very knowledgeable. State of Virginia allows for our granddaughter to use our car,and there is no 48 hour clause in our policy. Chris stated the exact opposite and was not nice at all. Chris emailed me doubling down on his apparent lack of knowledge in this case. I will no longer speak to our local office as they clearly do not abide by Virginia law and their own policy. So 30 some days after this,we received a card from him, once again misquoted Virginia law. We are now switching offices because of his rude behavior and the new office is very close to our home.

My fiancé and I needed insurance to pull off the lot so we called Chris to get a quote. The next day we canceled and went with our old insurance (better pricing) and he tells us “thanks for wasting my time” and was very rude. Poor Chris has terrible customer service and mad that he had to actually do his job. Highly recommend calling another Allstate office for a better experience.

I would leave this office zero stars if I could. I’d been with them for over a year. My auto payment failed, they sent me a letter by post mail. I was traveling at the time. In under 2 weeks..2 weeks only with a balance of only $161… they cut my insurance AND REPORTED ME UNINSURED TO THE DMV. And sent the $161 to collections. I ONLY OWED $161. that’s it. I could not believe it. And they NEVER CALLED ME. Not one phone call.
I was gone for a month. You can imagine the dmv nightmare I had to face upon returning. I paid them and dropped them. Their office is so unfriendly as well. I used to have State Farm before I went to Allstate and they are amazing. They call AND TEXT me whenever something comes up. State Farm people. I love the Crozet office especially.
DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE. It’s a huge risk of life ruining circumstances if you happen to miss one letter from them.

This agent charged an exorbitant amount of money for both auto & homeowners' insurance. I guess he thinks I have a money tree to just get extra money.
This past year (for up until the end of February), my homeowners insurance went up almost FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS PER YEAR without any notice!!! I do not have a never-ending pocket of money and I am thoroughly disgusted.

I have been with Allstate several years. I hit a city bus once (well...it was snowy that day) Allstate was very prompt in answering my call for help. When I go into their office they treat me with respect, and are most helpful.
