    I called to look into alternate arrangements for viewing an apartment as I am not yet in Monterey and my wife's work schedule does not leave her with free time during regular hours. Rather than make an accommodation or even simply say it is not possible, the receptionist proceeded to lecture me on my wife's schedule and imply it was unwillingness on her part that she could not view the apartment during regular hours. If this is the level of customer service provided before a lease is signed, I can only imagine what goes on afterwards.
