I have been very happy with Covington Electric as my provider. Moving from Florida, the service is very affordable. In the last two years, there has been one service interruption, which lasted 13 minutes. Thank you for keeping the lights on!

My 80 year old mother purchased a water heater from Covington Electric in Andalusia on a Thursday to be picked up Monday by Walker Electric to install in her home. When Walker Electric showed up to pick up the water heater, my mother's water heater was gone. We were informed no more water heaters will be received until some time in October or we could go to Enterprise, an hour drive away, to pick one up. An apology was made and a refund offered but when it was suggested Covington Electric retrieve a water heater from Enterprise since they dropped the ball, they would not do it. The water heater is needed not a refund. Covington Electric could have done the right thing and retrieved a water heater from Enterprise to replace the one they sold to my mother but they didn't. Very poor customer service especially for their mistake and problems they caused.

Fails to uphold even a modicum of quality service. No storms, no inclimate weather, nothing that should be taxing on the system as a whole, and there's still intermittent power surges. I'd be surprised if a week went by without issues like this. Infrastructure isn't difficult. Extremely disappointed with the company.
