Despicable property management company with owners that have a history of cutting corners and intimidating tenants, including suing one for defamation AFTER said tenant already beat them in court for violating zoning laws (check out SB Independent article "Big Isla Vista Landlords Taken Down for Filing False Defamation Suit" dated July 07, 2021). They changed their company name after losing a second time.

Our apartment had a deep shower clog that we made several inquiries about after our own equipment failed. We spent over TWO WEEKS repeatedly trying to reach out through their website and official email before they resolved the issue, by which time black sludge was emerging from our drain. After the fact, they attempted to charge us for the maintenance! Steer WELL clear of these people!

Getting a hold of maintenance was easy and efficient. However, trying to work with Brandon in the Isla Vista office was hard. Most of the time he came across as if we were bothering him and he was rude. We tried to get a hold of the main office in Southern California, texting and calling over half a dozen times and NO ONE called back. Although the apartment was clean and in a great location for college kids, the issue was with management. Management was not responsive at all.

This is my 2nd time re-leasing my apartment in this complex. The manager of this apartment complex is by far the best manager/landlord I have met. He is always there for his tenants at any given hour. If there is any repairs that need to be done in the apartment, he will send the technician asap. The apartments are brand new with all new high-end equipments. The room is very spacious and there are big windows and there is plenty of sunlight in the apartment. There is guaranteed secure parking
on -site which is easily accessible to D63 residents. The D63 complex is in a very quiet and safe street. The bus stop is a
2-min walk away and UCSB is a10- min walk. IV restaurants and cafes is a 5-min walk. The apartment complex is in a very prime location. I wasn’t even in town when I signed the lease and when I came here for my work, the apartment exceeded my expectations. The apartment has a very cozy and homely feeling to it. I would definitely recommend for students of all ages and also people who are working.
