8 years ago, Derek was the selling agent of the Gilroy home we purchased. We so valued his expertise and execution, we sought him out to sell the same home and, more importantly, to help us find a replacement home in Silicon Valley. Derek helped us prepare our Gilroy home for best marketability, and we sold it in less than 30 days!

After the sale, for the 1031 exchange, we had 45 days to identify a replacement home. Derek responded to every request we made to tour various properties, often at short notice. He always arrived early on site to check each property out before our arrival so he can point out the unique details of each home.

As time passed, finding the “right” house was becoming elusive! Derek was patient. He always researched similar home sales in the area to guide us and provided home disclosures for us to better understand the property, and was always confident and cheerful! When the “right” house appeared, we were quick to visit it and make an offer using Derek’s guidance. Our offer was accepted on the 4th day the house came on the market! We are so appreciative to Derek through this entire process!
