Would not recommend. These guys couldn't do the basic stuff like set up a meeting correctly. Respond to questions. Had a guy leave me hanging after committing to a scheduled time. 2nd person schedule a time, re-asked me the exact questions an a email that I answered already with the previous Ghoster. (No CRM?). Then, I get on a call and nothing about the call works. I keep getting kicked every time I try to adjust my audio to hear. So, TBH, if you can't organize yourselves in a way that doesn't frustrate of over complicate the customers experience, I can only imagine what other bugs, errors or issues lay mined ahead.

Try Aircall or anyone else.

Dialpad offers solutions for modern business challenges, not just the marketing-driven illusions that plague the industry today.

I've been happy for several years with Dialpad until yesterday. I suddenly got an email (see attached photo) saying my account was suspended. No further explanation. Of course, no one was answering the phone on the 4th of July, so they left me without a business phone for a full day. I checked billing and all was up to date. I asked friends who also use it if their service was down for some reason. Had my husband call my business number and it was in fact disconnected.

Sent an email via their 'contact us' button and I'm still waiting on a response from that.

Today I was finally able to connect with someone and they told me that it was shut down because of an unpaid bill from July, August, and September OF 2018! I asked why this hadn't been addressed at the time (we did change banks, but apparently the card did not get updated until October for some reason). Every bill has been auto paid by that same card since. Instead of calling and explaining the situation, they just disconnected my phone.

They "have a call" into their billing department to get it sorted out and they have turned it back on for the time being, but the fact that they simply turned it off with no warning is absolutely unacceptable. You are messing with people's businesses/livelihoods here. Not okay.

Dear Dialpad,
This is very frustrating. As of today, once again Diapad has unauthorised credit action from my account $45!
I never wanted a plan with you, yet at first you took a $65 during a trial!
Then, I requested to fully delete my account!

And what I see now is that you not only not deleted my account with my personal information, you have debited again from my bank!

Is it legal at all after I requested to delete my account with you!?
I demand an explanation and full deletion of my account and a refund immediately.

You are having a very bad reputation with me and I won’t hesitate to share my experience!

The only thing they did right was give me a list of their competitors before they let me cancel.

When you cancel access is immediately shut off, you have to request your refund for the already paid month. Which when you try they can’t find your credit card they so easily charged you. At this point I’m 25 min in with a “support” agent.

Now, I will spend 15 minutes having to dispute the charge since they can’t refund me. I provided the correct card and last 4 digits. It’s not like I have multiple cards.

You are forced into a trial if you want annual billing or don’t want to talk to sales. During / before the end of the trial you can change your billing. BUT what they don’t tell you is you need 3 users for the basic packages. So you really are forced into standard.

I only have me as an employee, I am hiring in a few months. I don’t need 3 licenses of a basic phone software and don’t want to pay needlessly.

Dialpad has vision but, no ability to execute. One of my best days is when I canceled my account. Their apps are clunky and poorly designed. It's obvious that groups developing for each device are operating in silos. Features work differently in each app. The only consistency is colors. I did my best for close to two years deal with this, but what I could not deal with is the unreliable communication platform and substandard support. A major part of the infrastructure is open source and the support people who are based offshore do not have the knowledge or skills to get problems fixed. The *switch* gets mangled so that when I tried to call a customer the call was rerouted to another number . The problem was permanent and could never be fixed. It happened to several contacts. I'm still searching for a visionary VoIP solution that is well designed with a reliable rich feature function menu. Dialpad is not it.

Tried all weekend to activate service and be a new customer. The online website would not accept credit cards. I tried 3 different cards. So I waited till Monday and spoke with customer service,. The Rep had very poor communication skills and said he would get me over to billing, but he was aware of the issue . keep in mind it's 10am Monday morning. once transferred, I received a message that said no one is available and the call disconnected. The company is unprofessional. I'm looking for a new service now!
