A classic small town cafe! The food was delicious and the service was great ?. The Cafe itself is definitely in need of some tlc and upkeep. All in all, it was good and didn't disappoint.

Tonight I had the chicken fried steak with mashed taters, onion rings, hot water cornbread and a side salad.
The steak was huge with a good flavor but it did have a few small burnt areas. The taters and salad were average and I really liked the onion rings. I wasn't a fan of the cornbread though. It really needs more umph as far as actual corn flavor.
The service was excellent with the servers really being on top of their game and the prices seem reasonable.
If I'm ever in this area again I'll definitely plan on stopping by to try other items. Hopefully the locals keep dining here to keep this little gem open for years to come.

A Classic greasy spoon with a great selection of comfort foods. The large menu makes it difficult to decide! Our waitress, Michaela, was really pleasant and welcoming. The fried catfish was excellent and the princess enjoyed the daily special, Philly steak sandwich. This restaurant is worthy!

We just ate breakfast and it was really good, I loved the ham, cheese and egg croissant and the fact that they had real lemon for my water. Our waitress was great! Can't wait to come back.

I got the 4 piece chicken finger meal and the food portion was large and VERY delicious! My fiancé ordered one of the burgers and thought it was delicious too. I will say it took quite a while for the food to come out. The waitress never stopped by to see if needed anything but one time towards the end of our time. It’s definitely a good place if you have time to wait and need a good Mom and Pops kind of meal.

The food was really great and the service even better. The only part of the dining experience that we wished we could have changed would be starting with dessert first so that we could have had more room for the fried chocolate pie, cheese cake, and key lime pie. We'll definitely be back again soon.

I have visited here once in a while for a few years. The last three times I have had issues, the third and final issue was today. A party of two, we both ordered the chicken-fried-chicken; the chicken arrived hot, but it was so tough that it was uneatable, this literally was the toughest chicken I have ever encountered. I brought it to the attention of the server who notified the manager. The manager prorated the price of the meal. The manager insinuated there were other customer complaints. I challenged the manager to try cutting a piece off for herself, but she did not do it. This used to be a good place to eat, lately, quality is gone down, I will not return. The server was pleasant and apologized.

Great local cafe in East End with a menu packed with Southern Style cooking and you can choose from sides like hand battered onion rings, pinto beans, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas, fried squash, fried okra and more! Those sides could be a southern feast of their own. Staff was cheerful and friendly. Food came out fairly quick too! They have fried pies for dessert which are always a crowd favorite!
