A nightmare, unfortunately. Hopefully my story was an outlier but it was absolute worst case scenario. The short story: After receiving my car insurance temp ID card and binder, and following up with the team multiple times to confirm, it turns out they never put my policy through and I was driving uninsured for months without knowing it.

The full story: I moved from CA to AZ, and they let me keep my policy with the Eric Graff office because they have Arizona-licensed agents. Seemed like the easiest thing to do. I spoke with the agent and submitted all my details. I received my temporary insurance ID card and binder. A few weeks goes by and I'm not billed for any new policies. That seemed strange, but State Farm billing is super slow and I've had issues with that in the past. Didn't see too out of the norm. But I then get a warning from the Arizona DMV that there's no insurance on file. I call/email this State Farm office to figure that out and they say there's just a delay in the system and I'll be billed soon and the DMV will be notified and it'll be fine. More time passes, and my registration still showed no insurance, so I contacted the Eric Graff office again and didn't get a response. Totally ghosted. Out of panic I quickly contacted an AZ State Farm office and when they pulled up my account, they said I have NO insurance policy at all. My California policy had been cancelled, and the Arizona policy was never actually instated. My AZ vehicle registration was then completely suspended and turns out I had been driving all that time uninsured. I had to pay to reinstate my vehicle registration and thank goodness nothing bad happened during that time. Such a nightmare.
