After my initial experience leasing a place my first impression has been good so far. Zuleyma has been very attentive to my needs and was a huge help throughout the leasing and move in process. She was very communicative and worked very hard to ensure that I had everything I needed to make my move go smoothly. I continue to have problems with Evernest as a landlord. I requested estimates for yardwork, painting, etc as a proactive means of improving the property.

A ticket was eventually generated January 31. They generated a duplicate ticket on March 5 given that no estimates were ever provided. I sent follow-up emails on March 12 and 18. Still no response as of April 5.

Robert is our primary overall maintenance technician and he has & does an outstanding job. He is professional, insightful, and highly competent. He recently repaired our damaged privacy gate which he made quick work of. When I submit a maintenance request, hands down I’m praying they send Rob. Thx. Keep doing what your doing.

I moved in 2 days ago in an apartment managed by Evernest in Virginia and have been without heating in the entire apartment (in January) and have a malfunctioning shower. There has been no response or acknowledgement from them thus far. They conducted an 'inspection' 30 minutes before I recieved the key and yet failed to report that the apartment does not cater to the basic and fundamental human needs of heating and water that I am paying for. A kind neighbor has lent me her space heater and also offered her bathroom to shower for the time being, but I am growing deeply concerned about my health and wellbeing in this apartment and anxious about my year-long lease with this company. I have no words for their incompetence and lack of business ethic. Small mercies, at least there's electricity.

If you're a tenant and Evernest takes over your property...move. They are thieves and liars. The worst customer service, poor maintenance communication, and deceitful practices are their stock and trade. They charged us several hundred dollars for an air filter that had just been changed, and made up several lies when we were moving out. They claimed we didn't return the mailbox key (we did), charged us over $400 dollars to mow our tiny strip of grass (in the winter), claiming our yard was over grown (it was not and I sent pictures), and several other fabrications so they could keep our deposit money. Even after we had the carpet professionally cleaned, they charged us for that (the carpet was 10 years old when we moved in!!). We wanted to sue them but gave up out of sheet exhaustion dealing with them. That's what they hope for. A nasty company that only cares about how they can profit from and exploit tenants.
