Gena was extremely helpful and pleasant to talk to. She answered all my questions and helped clarity specific insurance terms and provide the coverage that we needed. I would highly recommend her as she was a pleasure to work with.

In my nearly 40 years on this earth I've never had more issues with an insurance broker. They're quick to take your call when setting up a policy but trying to get a response over the phone is nearly impossible and the only way I've been able to talk to some one was to look them up and call the owners personal number directly. After 10 calls in to the office and 2 calls directly to Tyler I get a response. I was told oh you didn't leave a message. I did, on the first call I made At 1:06pm today. I continued to call every few minutes from 1pm until they finally returned my call at 3:14pm

I've never had to make any claims with these people so I cannot speak to how they handle those but of the last 3 instances I've tried to contact them to change or add policies it's always like pulling teeth to get someone to actually talk to you and then Tyler couldn't be bothered to apologize and blamed me for not leaving a voicemail on every follow up call because they have the only phone system in existence that cannot see the list of calls received apparently.

Save yourself the time and look elsewhere or prepare to waste your time trying to work with a broker that could careless about answering you. If the problem is the fact you have one person "answering or returning calls" then maybe you should hire more people or at least a competent replacement.

I cannot, in good faith, recommend Eversure. The most recent issue I have had with them is they did not notify me that they did not receive the payment from my mortgage company in time for a policy causing me to have a lapse in coverage for my home during Hurricane Ida. They refuse to take any responsibility on this matter and are blaming the mortgage company. They are not entirely wrong in doing so but I expect my Insurance agency to notify me in a timely manner of anything that might put my insurance in danger of lapsing. They did not notify me until 2 weeks after the payment due date, leaving me with no recourse. They should accept responsibility in this matter in the poor handling of my account.

Prior to Hurricane Sally they assured me over the phone that there would be no issues and no lapse in coverage. We, unfortunately, did not account for their lapse in ability, professionalism, and attentiveness to their customer accounts.

EDIT: In reference to the comment below: I called and they refused to take any responsibility. However, they eventually called back and offered to file a claim against their insurance and said an adjuster would be out to look at the roof. That adjuster never showed up so I ended up replacing the roof out of pocket. So yeah definitely still a 1 star from me.
