Nice, clean, and well stocked post office right off main street by the library. The staff is very polite and efficient. I wish they had longer Saturday hours and would add a self service kiosk like Fayetteville but other than that this is a great location!

Last month I went to Farmington post office to find out why they have moved our mail boxes twice in less than two weeks.

The clerk immediately went to Alicia Anderson, and told her about my question.
Alicia came out and introduced herself as post master

I asked the post master, “why have you moved our mail boxes that were right in front of our houses to exactly 3rd of a mile away?”
Her response, “BECAUSE I WANTED TO”?

I said, “That’s not a professional response to my question; me & my neighbors want the mails to be delivered to our house, not 1/3 of a mile away without. Will you bring them back please”.

She said, “I made that decision, and that’s how it’s gonna be.”

I asked for her boss’s name and phone number.
She said, “I’m the boss, and there is no one above me.”
She refused to cooperate in any way.

I’m going to find and write the district or regional manager; they can resolve this important issue for the community, and deliver our mails to our homes.

I hope Ms. Anderson’s superiors take the necessary steps to avoid any further escalation.

Why has the Farmington Post office unlisted their phone number. We called the 1-800 number and could not reach anyone there. Our mail was stopped for vacation and restarted on line without results.Now we have to drive to the post office to get it restarted.

Why? Why would you crush a book to cram it into a mailbox that is too small for it? Can a media mail package that is obviously a large book not be left on the porch?

This isn't the first time it's happened. This is the SECOND book that has been deliberately damaged to force it into a mailbox. Complete failure.
