I was looking for a bank after the one I had been using for years sold out and changed its name, and their customer service became terrible. So, it was time to find a better bank, and I found that special bank with First Southern State Bank in Albertville. They have the best customer service and convenience. This is what a small-town bank should be. I love my new bank and will stay with them forever.

I went to First Southern State Bank for my first time yesterday to apply for a loan with Whitney Stimpson and it was the quickest, simplest loan I have ever gone through. Everyone was extremely kind and welcoming! By far best banking experience I have ever had. Thank you Mrs. Stimpson for all your help!

Worst run financial institution I have ever seen. Nasty and rude people. Albertville location is always dirty. You have to wait forever for a simple task. They closed the bathrooms because they “got tired of cleaning them”. It was this bad when it was called Vantage and now the staff is worse and it has a new name.

You have three of the most rude supposed to be loan officers I have ever seen. Very unprofessional at their jobs. If you don't walk in with perfect credit they don't want you! Susan nor Gage ever gives a call back on your questions either. I would not recommend banking in Albertville. The Crossville location is so much better. They have nice polite loan officer and bank tellers. Albertville needs to learn some manners and how to talk and treat people.

I have never had any bad experiences here. Everyone that I have had dealt with is always super nice and friendly. They even ask about my husband bring he’s banked at the albertville location for sometime when it was vantage. Excellent customer service and 100% satisfaction

Trying to get my account set up on line and I was having problems. Called Stevenson, ended up with the Bookkeeping Dept. I'll acknowledge I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I hope I'm not the dullest.
I ended up with a lady who clearly did not have time for me. Guess I'll continue on as was.
