This is the best dentist office I’ve ever been to! All around the staff is really incredible. The front desk people are very kind and helpful. I had a deep cleaning done as well as X-RAYS. I believe Taylor was the woman that did the cleaning and she explained everything in depth & gave me literature to bring home about what we did / what to do in the future. Dr. Freeman went over my X-rays with me and explained his recommendation of wisdom tooth removal…. Which I was less than thrilled about because I previously felt like some doctors recommend it when the patient doesn't necessarily need it. He did a crash course in dental school and very in depth explained why it would be beneficial to remove them. He let me ask all my annoying questions and was very kind to reassure my fears about the wisdom tooth removal, as I’ve never had surgery or been out under before. I felt really heard & respected. They got me in super quick and the staff for that procedure was also super kind. Dr.Mayer answered more questions I had and made the seemingly scary process very not scary! This team was incredible and I’d definitely recommend them for any dental needs.

I wanted to write about Sylvia, one of the Technicians. I had never seen this Oral Surgeon before and I became really nervous about having my teeth pulled, to the point of tears. Sylvia, was monitoring the nitrous and she really calmed me down, telling she had been a patient of his and that he is really good, and just made me much more relaxed. Thank you Sylvia.

I recently called to schedule a routine yearly check-up and cleaning. While the representative who took my call was courteous, I found her comments regarding my employer to be quite unprofessional. After I provided the name of my employer for insurance verification, she made negative remarks, stating, "I hate that place," and proceeded to share her personal experiences.

I felt compelled to apologize on behalf of my employer, as I believe it is inappropriate for a healthcare professional to speak negatively about a patient's workplace. As someone who manages patient relations for a local clinic, I would be disheartened if any of our staff behaved similarly.

While I have generally had positive experiences with your office, this interaction has left me reconsidering my upcoming appointment. I hope you take this feedback into account for future training and patient interactions.

Went in today and everything went smoothly everyone is so nice and no problems putting in the crown on. I thought my tooth couldn’t be saved this time cause I chipped it more a couple of days ago but Tonya and Dr. Medina took a look at it and went straight to work knew exactly what to do! totally didn’t know you guys were going to put the permanent one on right away but that’s a plus thank you Tonya and Dr. Medina! —Felipe

Cheryl always is so thorough. And so kind. I really like her as hygienist. Dr. Freeman came and checked everything- he is so knowledgeable! Felt wonderful when I left!

I love this place after previously having a fear of dentists. I am treated very well and am always given adequate anesthesia for procedures. I actually like my dentist, feel at ease, and feel that I am in good hands at this facility.

Let me start off by saying how much I dislike going to the dentist! When I called Flagstaff Modern Dentistry, I spoke with Debbie who was very kind and patient with me while taking all my information over the phone. Aria, dental assistant really nice she made me feel very relaxed (I was very nervous) Saw Dr Mease 👍🏼he explained and we went over my dental plan for my next visit! The hygienists and the only dentist I've really gone to, Medina, are great. However there are other issues, the website fails to cancel appointments, and then you have to call and speak to a receptionist who often has an attitude about the "appointment" that the site says was canceled beforehand. To be fair the receptionists are usually sweet. It's a toss up. Their website isn't great and they don't have an endodontist anymore.. in my case i was referred to an endo in flag who didn't take my insurance or I was told to drive hours away to their previous endo, but wasnt given any contact information for the previous endo. I don't think they communicate very well. Point is the dental office is good but they have a bad referral system and the site is a problem
