My partner & I commissioned Franklin Capital to market our business to potential buyers. We had another company attempt the same but they were "ill prepared" and overall did a horrible job in every aspect. However we were bound under contract for a year before we could make the switch to Franklin.

The difference was night and day....literally!! Franklin's CIM was not only 54 pages compared to 15 BUT they did the research and wrote every word; I had to basically re-write the entire CIM from the other firm. They knew the marketplace and presented it to the "Right" Prospective Buyers and gathered more than 5 times the amount in the previous attempt. They walked us down every step, patiently explaining every detail.

In the end we did not find a buyer that met our desired criteria BUT Franklin Place was instrumental in crafting a transfer of the company to my partner in a "Stock Redemption" as I was determined to retire after 30 years. There are always a lot of bumps in the road selling a business, but Franklin Capital was the perfect "Shock Absorber" we needed to get it done.
