At first, they were great and attentive to calls and my text messages. I believe her name was Cassie. She did a great job, other than giving me the wrong access code to view a rental apartment. I asked if my husband and I could view it at 6pm, which is after their business hours. This was because my husband works until 5, and we're an hour away from the rental. Cassie said we could view it anytime with a copy of my Driver's license.
They should not allow people to view rentals after hours if they're not going to have everything set up properly. We get there, again after driving an hour, and the code doesn't work. Disappointed doesn't cover how we felt. I called, and texted, and at first couldn't reach anyone. I then tried again and picked the maintenance emergency option. That put me through to maintenance right away, who was absolutely great and helpful. He told me that he'd try to get someone on the phone who could help me, and to wait there for a bit. We waited about 15 minutes, and received a call from a woman, I didn't get her name, who seemed flustered by having to call me. She told me the right access code, which happened to be the code that was on the box when we showed up, and it worked, BUT THERE WAS NO KEY INSIDE to open the door. And she hung up with me before I could let her know there wasn't a key...
So, incredibly disappointed, we left to drive the hour back home. I texted that I wanted a phone call in the morning because we were still interested in viewing the apartment. I didn't receive a call, so by 11AM, I called them. They told me that the back door is left unlocked and I could go view it whenever. I then asked if there was anything they would do to compensate me for my time, and we ended up using half a tank of gas total, and we still planned on going back again to view it. And they said absolutely not, they weren't willing to do anything for us. And they didn't even apologize for wasting our time and resources.
Graywalt is not worth your time, if you're not worth theirs. I've done their job. It's not difficult to make sure that the access key is in the box, with the proper code that your giving out to potential clients. And when you screw up, you apologize and try to make it right.
Long story short, we found a great rental closer to home, with a landlord who cared enough to actually meet with us to view the property. If you've made it this far, thanks for reading, and maybe try to make your viewings during their business hours. Good luck with them.
