The last three of my business banks had been acquired over the last fifteen years, and our most recent buyout was horrible. Another small business owner recommended Home Bank, and they are the perfect fit for us. We have an individual banker to communicate with, and their team has been on top of our needs so far.

One thing many business customers forget is the federal regulations imposed on different account types, and this is not a bank issue. Our previous bank hid behind these, instead of facilitating us like Home Bank has, specifically with debit card spending limits. A quick call to Javier and we were able to make larger purchases as needed.

Our experience with online check deposit has been good, as well as the availability of cash at the branch. It was a pleasant surprise to walk in, and talk with my banker who had my funds in hand and counted. If you are looking for a nimble business focused bank, Home Bank is for you.

Great bank with great people. They watch for any suspicious activity on your account and call to verify before letting any large transactions post. I feel like they always have our back.

I am constantly shocked at the horrible customer service from this very small bank. They could care less about their customers and prove it every interaction I have with them. Their remote check deposit is deplorable, and they don't keep any deposits online for more than a month- they don't keep more thank 3 months of statements available online, and then charge you $5.00 per statement. I have called four days in a row requesting 2022- told them my accountant needed them- 4 days later I still have not received them. I have called and been told that they are too busy with NEW customers...WHO treats existing customers like that? You would think you get better service at a small bank...NOT this one!

My mortgage was rough around the edges. I had Airbnb income, self-employed income and no W2 income. Everyone was amazing. My loan was pain-free and I am saving money like nobody's business. I give Home Bank of California the highest recommendation. And I live in Burbank...they loan across town which is amazing.
