This company is the absolute WORST. We went without a WELL (water) for a MONTH and a half (and they wouldn't reimburse us immediately for hotel stays and we didn't have money to pay for hotel day after day so we lived in a house with no running water using 5 gallon jugs to the point I had my builder-father hook up a water tank to the house. We had appliances break repeatedly (took more than 4 months to have our dishwasher fixed, 2 months for the dryer). Any time I tried to contact them about an update on the well, we didn't get calls back or respond to our emails. I even tried emailing the homeowner and they didn't respond either. At move out it took them 43 days to mail our check (after I called to bug them about it), then they added a $750 fee to 'trim the hedges' (what hedges?). We cared for the lawn and cut the bushes at move out - I think they took too long to do the move out inspection and lost too much money repairing their own broken well that they wanted to do anything to keep our security deposit. The stairs on the back deck rotted and gave out to where you couldn't walk down the back deck and they never fixed it the remaining few months we were there. We took very good care of the home, had it cleaned professionally (as it ambiguously stated in the move out information) and they ADDED a $200 fee to clean the floors after they'd already been cleaning claiming they confirmed with the cleaning company it wasn't done, which is not true. I watched the cleaning lady clean the floors. I have contacted an attorney about this. My advice is to save yourself the headache and avoid renting a home from this property manager, especially 30 Stafford Ridge Road in Stafford Virginia.
