Dearest Catherine, love your style! I love my rental. I can't speak about any other properties, but my experiences with mine thus far have been spot on! I love my privacy and seclusion! I haven't had any issues. However, if in the future, I feel if I do, they will take care of it properly. I met Melissa briefly. She was very kind and sweet. She also was the secretary so she could only convey the issues and messages to the property managers, etc. They in turn have to work through the owners of said properties, etc. If they don't then there are other things to explore. However, in relation to losing one's mate, I can only say that everyone deals with that kind of loss differently. I was inconsistent and pretty much out of commission for up to 2 years after mine of almost 20 years passed in January of '22. So, unless I know someone well, I cannot speak on their person in a negative way, if at all. Anyway, my rent is always first priority. Not to mention, I take great care of my rental property because I love for my surroundings to be aesthetically pleasing, or clean and comfortable, if you will. Just wanted to chime in. I hope we continue to have positive regard for one another as time gets on. Blessings~

The negitive reviews are TRUE! Filled out an application was told it was never recieved. Told I needed a co-signer after explaining that I would need one. Was told that if I applied that one application was enough then was told I needed to fill out one for each place I was intersted in. Filled out the apps and there as more confusion about why I had a cosigner, this went on for weeks until I finally go the message loud and clear. Do not rent from these peopIe. I am a Lexington native and I have heard nothing but negative rumors about renting from Howard Hanna. Holy cow was I shocked that the rumors were not only true but the situation here is far worse than the negitive rumors let on. They do have good employees but leadership here is 100% incompitent. Terrible company to rent from. Melissa has no idea what she is doing. I had the displeasure of dealing with her multiple times. She does not keep up with the properties. If you ever have a problem no point in even requesting a work order because no one will ever show up or answer your calls/messages. They will never work with your schedule either. Constantly trying to walk into your place without you there. My original landlord let HowardHannah take over his properties and it was the biggest mistake he could’ve made. Renters and owners BEWARE. Try sterling properties instead!! Much better!!!

I live in 1415 chapman ave sw, howard hanna is a horrible rental company Melissa is not professional she would use the excuse her husband passing which was 3 years ago for every excuse,why things aren't getting done she puts 3 or more water bills at a time I took them to court for illegally charging me bills that wasn't adding up. They knew they had a trap house next door Crack heads are all over u can't even let your children play outside. Cops found a body in the back yard. Shoting happens all the time. Maintenence are crack heads come to property high half asleep falling on the floor. Do half fast jobs and then they want to charge you. Melissa will try to keep all ur security deposit for the fix up of property that doesn't even exist . She doesn't even respond once u move in. Stay away from Howard hanna it's a rip off ghetto realtor. I was the last rental at this property. Run and don't look back.

If I could give a zero I would. I was told I would be able to move in November. Do to teach and construction debris I was not able to move in until 3 weeks ago. With no final walk through, and no lease signed. I asked if everything was done. I was told of course. The main thing that needed to be fixed the deadbolt did not even work still. Came inside and was told the place got a deep cleaning. By far the nastiest place I have ever moved into. Due outstanding gas bill I could not get the gas turned on. I still didn't have a lease to show proof. That took over a week. I sat in here the first week with no heat. The heating and air conditioning does not work. Here we are on three weeks and still have not heard back about those things.along with the fenced down and now stolen. Dryer wasn't even hooked up. This place smells like straight dog when you walk in the door. The carpet was nasty and not even vacuum. Clogged sinks and broken toilet. Trash outside still. And no maintenance has come by after three weeks now. The most unhappy customer in a long time.

Property manager never fixed anything when maintenance orders were sent in. Communication was awful!! Was rude when we did contact for anything. Blocked our walk through area to the laundry room during the middle of winter and was expecting us to walk around the house in 40 degree weather to do laundry. Our rent was also raised without warning and without the owner knowing. I will never rent with Howard Hanna again because of all the troubles us and the owner have had.

Had a bad experience with them. Found one of their places online and proceeded to apply to rent and got approved. Paid deposit and first month rent and got insurance they recommended. Went to move in and the place was dirty. Hasn't been properly cleaned or any work done to the place. Had multiple broken washer/driers and misc trash. Old mattress and a bike that was taken apart along with other junk. Found that the the pictures they where using to show the place where old and before previous Tennant. They offered to move me to another one of their properties and I looked at one and didn't fit my needs. They had 2 other properties they told me they where going to be ready by a certain day and when that day came the property was not ready. After paying then a deposite and first month and didn't sign any lease. And weeks later still no place to live. I then wanted to get a refund and contacted kassidy, the girl I was dealing with the whole time and after asking for refund she quit answering my calls and emails. Called the main office and left message and they didn't get back to me. Next day I called office again and finally got a hold of someone and went over the whole situation agreed to refund my money. Still have not gotten refund yet.

RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES!! I have been trying to see a property for a while now and every time I have called I have been told I will be called back later that day (I haven't been called once). I called today to see if they could give me an estimate of when they will schedule a viewing or if I could get the property owners contact information to schedule a viewing with them directly. The lady was very rude and told me I would be called when I'm called and it's not her problem and then she hung up on me. NO WAY I'm giving them my business!
