This bank is almost disappeared. No branches, no local support services. Everything is by phone. It is like a bank in the air. If one day phone cut off, your money is gone. Too risk to make business with this "bank" unless you get a big loan with them otherwise it is not worth to deposit one penny in there.

As a loyal client from China to US for over a decade, I visited many branches in different countries, this branch is the worst. If you come to this place, the only person would help you is Mr Van Lui. The front desk ladies are impatient, unprofessional, and freaking rude.

HSBC's website advertizing makes it look like it is a special bank that you can access your US accounts from other countries. NO - ALL LIES!

I went to the branch today and was told that the only way to access my US account money while in another country, is to use their US-issued ATM card...Duh! How is that any different than any other US bank

Take down your "global" language garbage HSBC. You are just a want-to-be, and I will bank with Citi or Chase instead - they can do things that you can't, and they don't lie about it.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! It is a RIP OFF!!! We spent hours in two days just to open an account, and when we realized these guys are scam, they were not willing to return our $10k deposit. Almost got into physical fight. Very unprofessional, disrespectful. They speak in Chinese about your business behind your back, so you cannot understand what they are saying. When we asked for our money back, they keep laughing with derogatory remarks on us. Please stay away from this place. It needs to be closed ASAP! We went to a Chase next door, and got the same service in minutes.

Simon H. Syer a assitant VP that provided service to us and was rude and awful. When asking direct questions about our account about a convectional loan that we have a rider on he refuse to give us any direct answers on how to take out the deposit we have on the account. He would say that we cannot take out any amount. The worst part is that we continue to a 50 service charge for the account and we came to him for the last 3 months his response was that he help us off the charge, because that shouldn't happen but he has no control over how the bank system works.

WARNING - Jonathan Ni, the HSBC Arcadia, CA branch manager has manipulated and gaslighted my my 88 year old mother who opened an account there because of a misleading promotion. She met every requirement but he never paid my mother the promotional fee, it is a SCAM.
