We leased out our 4 bedroom, 3 bath property through Hunter and had to fire them. Tenants were doing odd things like using an extension cord to connect to the outside electrical 120V to plug in their interior portable AC which they threaded through the open window. If they had asked, we could have upgraded the electrical to plug in on the interior but, we only found out through our gardener who said that their was flooding below the outlet. When we did a walk through, 2 AC units were done this way. The tenants actually left the property afterwards. They never replaced the landscaping statues which were sentimental to us. Someone was selling them on EBAY to fund their interests. We would never recommend Hunter Properties. This is my second review and the previous one disappeared. The problem was that the company stood up for the tenants even though we hired them to protect our property.

We have rented our house through Hunter Properties for many years and couldn't be happier. They have always worked hard to keep our house occupied and they do a very good job of screening tenants. Kelly and Bruce and their team are always available and they take care of repairs in a timely manner. They are responsive to both the tenants and the homeowners. We especially appreciate the way they prepare monthly statements and make monthly deposits on time. We highly recommend them!

Price gauging ! Last year $. 1750. For 1 bedroom - now $ 2650 for same apartment. Rental staff very rude and uncooperative.
Wanted me to get $ 300,000 rental insurance
with ‘ hunter property’ as beneficiaries of $$ if accident. I have about$ 2,000. Of value- why should I get $ 300,000 policy. Hunter property should have their own.

a TRULY wonderful property management company that takes the needs of their owners and their tenants into consideration - ALWAYS! They have mastered the importance of good, strong and balanced communication between both parties - and pride themselves on quick, efficient work to get the job done! I believe they are the best property management company in North County San Diego!

Don't expect to get your security deposit back. They charged me $300 for touch up paint and I was only in the property for a 4 months.
