Mr. Tomatillo violated my privacy. He took all the paperwork I had on the counter without my permission and started going threw it behind the glass. When I reacted strongly that he violated my privacy and rights he said I was done. I tried to grab my private papers back from him as he had no right to grab them, go threw them or look at them. I yelled to stop looking at them again that he was violating my privacy and tried to reach threw the glass again to get my papers. He said that's it, he's done and called security on me. I got escorted out. I asked building security how to report him and was given an address in Washington DC. I'm sorry but THE EMPLOYEES DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO TREAT DISABLED AMERICANS ILLEGALLY AND THEN WHEN CAUGHT SAY "IM DONE" AND GET US REMOVED. WE HAVE RIGHTS.. and Mr. TOMATILLO YOU VIOLATED MY PRIVACY

I went with my Wife and Toddler for ITIN application today. The guard and the officer, both were very pleasant, patient, helpful and welcoming. Loved the complete experience.

The guard even gave us a table to keep our documents so that we don't have to hold it till my turn. Everyone was very nice to everyone.

Thank you !

An advice to the applicants- Please make sure that you take appointments before coming. The office is trying hard to accommodate the applicants without appointments also, but if somebody shows up with an appointment, then the ones without appointments will be pushed back in the line and may have to wait till there is gap with no appointments.

I was very happy with my visit. Yes, they were running behind but Jim Moran and the security guard made every effort to keep me informed and help me when I got my turn. What a huge relief to talk to someone face to face. Since the IRS is so backlogged with recording things, I could not get thru to anyone online because my authorization form, which was sent in 3 weeks earlier, had not yet been processed into the system. This is a serious problem. It is hard enough dealing with a death but to compound the inability of the IRS to process the paperwork is just awful.

I made sure to call the IRS before going into the office. I was advised that to do a change of address, I had to drop the form off at the office. Well, I go today and there are signs up saying that an appointment needed to be made yo speak with someone. It also stated that there may be a chance for a same day appointment. I arrive and the security officer asked if I had an appointment. I said no, I was aware that I needed to make one. So, I had to wait until someone was able to see me. Mind you there are no other people waiting or meeting with IRS staff inside. Finally someone comes to the desk and I let him know that I needed to make a change of address and I needed to speak with someone about my stimulus payment. He said that I need to mail in the form and gave me slip to make an appointment to speak with someone. Mind you, I am the only person waiting. I told him that I called the 800 number and spoke to someone who said I needed to bring the form in. He just said I have to mail it in because they don't take those forms. I told him that you need to tell the people to stop giving the wrong information out when you call the 800 number. This trip was a waste of my time. I only gave it 1 star because at least the security officer was nice.

Mr Ibarra was really helpful and spoke where you could understand everything he was saying which was very helpful. We were not rushed or felt like we were hurried either. Security was also pleasant and explained his role quite well which was also impressive.

I would recommend trying another office, it'll probably still be terrible, but less so. Staff is very impatient and rude. I've been waiting for a month and a half for an appointment, to do something that I was never informed I could do online. I learned that information from another customer. Basically if you come here, make sure that you are already a tax professional, as they demean you and have a higher than thou attitude for every question that you have. Also, my appointment was at 11:00. I showed up to the office at 10: 20 to check in, came back at 10:55, and I was just called to be seen at 12:30. Even with an appointment, you are going to end up waiting more than an hour, at least. To the staff, if you were more patient with answering questions, people wouldn't have as many. If you anticipated how people needed help, (because it's your expertise, and your job), you wouldn't have people taking up more time than necessary to fix their issues. Looking for any opportunity to snap, or be rude, or respond in a passive aggressive way, is very childish and not meant for a work setting. And my two hours sitting in this office I did not see one person leave without getting some type of attitude or subtly demeaning comment. Work on your professionalism. The security guard is cool though, he maintained his attitude and was very understanding. He was even the one to inform me why the wait was taking so long and when I would likely be called; not the man at the front desk(whose job it is). Thank you for that, I appreciated someone having a little empathy. I know this review won't affect anything because you guys are a part of the federal government and they're not going to stop paying you, but maybe you should really take a good long look at yourself. If you didn't want to be a tax professional for the rest of your life, maybe you shouldn't have gone for it. Don't take your frustrations out on people that are already frustrated, just because you know they can't respond in the same manner that you talk to them without security having to be involved. Shameful job guys

Arrived 15 minutes early for 9:00am appt. Wasn't seen until 9:30 and was rushed by attendant, claiming my issue needed considerable time to review.

First attendant (Mr. Ibarra) did not have sufficient training to answer any of my questions. Second attendant (J. Moran) was unprofessional and intimidating. He even went to the point to address me with insulting language and laugh at my responses multiple times, without proving any helpful information.

He explicitly instructed me that it was possible to file previous taxes online, but when I inquired which software or platform was capable of doing so, he simply replied, "I have no idea"

In summary, this appointment was very defeating, with poor customer service, insulting language, and an overwhelming lack of accountability.

On the other hand, the Security Guard was professional and friendly.
