She explained everything clearly, offered me a great price for my insurance, and took the time to adjust everything to suit my needs perfectly. I highly recommend them!

My experience has been an absolute nightmare! I needed a sr22 to be able to reinstate My license. I called state farm and purchased a policy, telling the agent I had lost My license due to no insurance etc. After dmv didn't receive notice of the sr22 I called them back only to be told they can't do a sr22 for new clients. Ok fine no worries, the policy was canceled within an hour of purchasing. A week later and I still have not received my refund! I have sent several emails with NO response. However, i did receive a phone call back, the woman tried to tell me i wasn't clear with the policy I needed, bs. Then went on to tell me the policy (that I canceled) needed to be declined BEFORE they could start the refund process. First and foremost how can you decline something I canceled, and Secondly it should not take over a week to refund the money from the canceled policy. She was quite rude IMO and offered no resolution other than I must wait.

I had to file a storm related claim for damage to my home under my homeowners insurance the weekend of Labor Day. I will be honest and say that corporate State Farm really messed up my case. I understand they are busy, but they really were underresponsible both on the phone and through email in October 2024. When my contractor was expressing concern about this to move the job forward, I worked with Melissa through this local office, and she was invaluable in getting answers and solutions every single day every single step of the way! I cannot recommend her enough! She helped this job move ahead when corporate really dropped the ball.

Melissa is one of the most helpful individuals you will ever meet. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best customer service. She has a great personality. She makes you feel like you are sitting with a friend whom you laugh with. It doesn't seem like you are conducting business transactions. Not everyone can enjoy Melissa's expertise, however, all the ladies are just as helpful, they are there to help and make sure you are taken care of and happy with the experience. Recently switched my auto and home insurance from Nationwide to Kim Smith State Farm. Called around to a few places before calling Melissa at the Kim Smith group and couldn't be more pleased. Very reasonable rates and excellent service. Has been very helpful with all my questions and gets back with me very promptly both via phone and email. Couldn't recommend a better place to deal with. Also wanted to shout out to State Farm for not discriminating against certain dog breeds. Most places would not insure my home due to having a Staffordshire Terrier however its not even a question they ask and when I brought it up I was told that was absolutely not an issue.

I was a little upset because I got another car and I had a two-car policy but then I wanted to stop the two-car policy but everybody was so respectful at the office on Weems Lane in Winchester Virginia and they help me and they got it done! And I just wanted to give them five stars!!
