Matt King saved me about 50% over what I was paying for my family of 6 to be insured with Farmers and with the same coverage. I only wish I would have met him sooner! Not only are we saving, but Matt has great customer service and is easy to reach and happy to help when ever I call and have questions or want to adjust my policy. Matthew King Insurance has a settlement with Mossy Nissan. At the very end moment of finalizing your deal, they will get in touch with you and find a not-so-good policy for you. At that point I didn't have any choice because all the other agencies were closed.

They charge a brokerage fee which is even more than monthly premium of the car insurance. Plus, that fee is non-refundable. I cancelled my policy within 1 month because that policy was simply costly. Still they told me they won't refund any of the brokerage fees because there is some fine print in the documents.

Please get your policy ready from somewhere else if going to Mossy Nissan. Never take policy from Matthew King Insurance Agency.

We purchased a car from Mossy Nissan and we needed car insurance immediately. Our Allstate Agent wasn't available, so on the advice of the car sales man we used Matthew King Insurance Agency. What a mistake that was!!

They failed to tell us that the policy initiation fee would be billed to our credit card as two separate charges from two different companies. So of course when we didn't recognize the payee, we contested one of the charges and had it removed from our credit card bill. Because of this mix-up we essentially never had insurance on our almost new car!

When I spoke to Matthew King's agent and asked to cancel the policy due to the debacle with the split payments, she told me that only $106 of the $270 payment we made went to the insurance company, the other $164 went to them for "brokerage fees" and she refused to return the fee, even though we were never actually covered by the insurance.

The insurance we were supposed to receive was also over priced, and was with a poorly rated company. We ended up paying way too much for our car insurance ($527 for six months versus $412 from Allstate). Based on my experience, I don't recommend using Matthew King Insurance Agency 🙁

This business is very hard to get ahold of, and due to that fact I wasn't able to update payment information. Due to this, I was double charged for a lapse payment. I would NOT recommend using Mathew King as a middle man insurance negotiator, unless you want to give your money to a business that seems fraudulent and unsatisfactory. After this experience, i canceled my policy, and went direct through a different company. I was able to get a way better, and more affordable policy going directly through to the source.

The shadiest insurance company I have ever dealt with. I called for a quote, the quote was great. Payed my down payment they emailed me a receipt and they were supposed to email me my binder for the policy. Few days went by never got anything. I called and was put on hold for 20 mins, got disconnected. Then called again and they apologized said they were busy and said to leave a message. They never called back called again two days later and told them I am on my way to pick up the binder in person. To make a long story short came to find out I was never insured at all.

Reading the bad reviews on here really suprised me. I've been going through these guys for about 3 years now and it's been fantastic honestly. Maybe just a few super salty people that had a bad experience went out of their way to post a bad review. I feel like there has to be more people like me that have been pleased working with them that just have never bothered to put a review online... I've been working with Marie Steele at Matt King's office and in the last 3 years I have purchased 4 different vehicles (I have a problem, I know)... Particularly, this weekend, I purchased a new car, but in the process, I had tested 6 different vehicles and I was able to simply text Marie the VIN and she was kicking me back insurance quotes in real time on the cars I was testing to help with my budget decisions while purchasing. I know you can't always expect someone to go that extra mile (several miles) every time, but I really appreciated her efforts so I could budget my purchase appropriately... For each one of my cars and sometimes two at a time, they've done all the ground work for me to find me a great policy to suit my needs and budget. I think they shop around with a handful of small insurance companies, which I'm ok with. I like to support small businesses, especially when I'm get a very reasonable rate in the process. I'm sure there's some commission for King's office somewhere in the paperwork, but hey, they're doing good work and got to make a living too and as the end customer, I've never felt that the cost was hitting me. Marie has always found me a better rate than I would get from one of the big companies... In this same time frame, I've had to place one claim that was handled by the insurer same as you would expect from anyone else... Overall, they do their jobs very well and make car insurance a simple breeze for me and I'm a happy customer.
