Fishing and swimming here since early 1980's.
Great channel cats at night, stripes, plenty of bluegill, and bass.
Water level can fluctuate dramatically daily.
Wake boarding is great.
Did a triathlon years ago.
Donkeys are everywhere.
WATCH OUT FOR RATTLESNAKES AND SCORPIONS.
Sunrises are outstanding.

It was a perfect day! 6am, rain, clouds a little yoga the water was perfect for paddle boarding. We went to the very far end where there was a creek flowing into the lake.

I’ve been there for an event. It was really amazing. You can go rent a boat. You can also do some water sports. If you have few if you bring your own stuff or you can rent it as well. The water is clean you can view the whole lake from different locations and you can enjoy the weather. There are some locations where you have shades so you can stay there, have a barbecue or have a an outing with family and friends there are some areas that will need to have some more parking space but overall it’s an amazing place and I would definitely try to go again

Lake pleasant was so pleasant. When we pulled up we walked to the water and immediately bumped into a bunch of wild donkeys. They followed us around the whole night and tried to get involved with our bbq lol. All the other tourists also came over to see the donkeys and it made the experience so fun. I just wish the donkeys came swimming w us.

Amazing place. Ninja hurdles, jet skies, floating restaurant are some of the attractions. Friendly people made our trip more memorable. Most importantly, check temperature and plan.

The day I was there, at noon, it was 110 degrees. Once I was inside the lake, it wasn’t feeling like 110. Totally refreshing and the people around was respectful and nice. Planning to move to AZ in the future.
