First of all… I could not post my review, without giving them a 1 star. In fact, they don’t deserve any stars whatsoever. The way they are doing my sister, with all her disabilities, is very discriminatory. She even worked for this company, and they still treated her wrong. When she found out that her kidneys were shutting down and that she needed dialysis, which was a life or death situation, they still told her she had to leave. They would not, and I mean “WOULD NOT” let her stay with her daughter, which was already renting from them. They told her she had to pay another deposit. Why should she have to pay another deposit, when they still have her deposit from the apartment she had? The management is very poorly there. I could understand if my sister didn’t take care of her apartment, but she kept it immaculate. I never have, nor will I ever rent from Lindsay Management.

if i could give them a 0 star i would! these people are the biggest crooks! we have reported them to the proper authorities and to the proper people in regards to their horrible living conditions. theyre all infested with roaches. horrible people dont rent from them

I want to express my disappointment with Salem Park Apartments regarding my contract end of term.
It all started when I went down to tell the management that I would not be renewing my lease with them. Management acknowledged this notification. Then I went back down a few days later and asked if I could do just one month extension, as my new home remodel was not yet complete, I than explained that I would really only need a couple of weeks. They told me that because I did not come in before the 25th that my contact renewed automatically. They had a solution to this and explained to me that they had a new tenant that would be moving into my apartment and agreed I could rent the apartment for December only ,then the person coming in after me could take over the lease in January. They explained that someone would get back with me in couple of days and let me know what I needed to do. I did not get any communication from management so I went back down to the apartment office on 12/9/19 and told them I would be out of my apartment on 12/12/19 so as to give them time to get it ready for the next tenant. They then told me that the other party had backed out of his agreement to move in and went on to explain to me they were NOT going to abide by and honer the verbal agreement and stated my contract automatically renewed, and informed me I would have to buy out my contract in full.
I do not feel I should have to buy out my complete contract when I was told by management that I could pay 1 month rent. I took the words of management as a good faith agreement, but it appears that management is going back on their words.
I have always paid my rent on time, I have never given management any trouble, I follow the rules and I keep my place clean. The employee representing the apartment management told me I could pay 1 month rent. If this employee was incorrect in this statement to me , then it is not my fault , and management should honor the agreement that this employee told me. It is not the fault of the tenant if the tenant is given incorrect information by a representative of the apartment management. Otherwise it is clear that Lindsey Management is not going to stand behind their words and agreements of their staff.

❗️❗️❗️⚠️ rant of the day ❗️❗️❗️⚠️⚠️If you’re ever trying to rent, do not rent with Lindsey Management properties (links st Sherwood. Links at rock, anything that has to do with Lindsey management) don’t matter where they are. No wonder why they have a 1 ⭐️ rating. This is the worst rental property ever. All they care about is this damn golf course. Since the day I moved in the first day, my bathroom door was broken and they have yet to fix it. They said they would but never did and it’s going on a year since I’ve moved in. Every time I asked about it they say they order a door but it’s the wrong one. I know it doesn’t take a year for the wrong door 😡. My stove came with no drip pans, my dryer takes 3 hours to dry a load of clothes don’t matter if it’s three shirts or a load of clothes. My water bill was 1300 my first month and they told me they will take care of it and they never did until my water was shut off after many attempts to get them to pay for it. Even after I spoke to the water company to adjust the bill since it was leakage and they did but the water company said they can only adjust it so much so they left about 400 for my bill and told me the apartments have to take responsibility as well. They never did, I had to make payment arrangement with the water company to get that past due balance pay and current water bill paid. I’ve spoke to corporate many times and 2/3 times this who year I’ve spoke to them, I was hung up on. Today I call again to explain about charges on my account after saying they returned money back to my account but they’re charging me still for returning it. My bank clearly stated, they never returned anything, they took the money out and it was in there. So now charges have accrue to $170 and each day that goes by its getting higher. Called corporate this morning and the first girl hung up on me. Now I called back again another lady says their system is down and she will give me a call back. Ok I’ll be waiting and by 12 when I don’t get that call I’m calling back. I’m sick of the links. They have apartments everywhere and I see why they’re 1star. They don’t care about the residents just the stupid golf course. High for no reason.

The apartments are nice, but the staff is incompetent. They send emails for everything except for paper notices that are extra time sensitive. For example, I paid rent, received an email that it had gone through, and then days later received a notice on my door saying that I had not paid rent, owed several days late fees, and would be evicted if the problem was not fixed in 24 hours. I went to the office, and they were unsure why my payment had not gone through, therefore unable to provide a concrete answer about why I had been threatened; said that if whatever went wrong stayed wrong, then I would find out in 3-5 buissiness Days, again owing over a week’s worth in late fees; and to make it all worse, they were unable to tell me how I could be sure that my payment had gone through, and I would not be evicted. Later that day, after talking to Management and paying rent a second time, I received a notice of eviction for “not paying rent.” I brought this to the office, they saw that I had indeed paid rent, and said that they did not mean to send out an eviction letter. I must reiterate, Lindsey Management is incompetent. Don’t bother Lindsey Management; go with ANYONE else.

Do not rent from these people. They are rude, unprofessional & out right crooks. If you want the people you pay $1000 to monthly to call the towing company to tow your car bc you don’t have your tags up to date. During covid when there was no way to get tags. They are not for you they are against you & no one should have to live in that environment.
They are the worse of the worse. Save yourself major cash & frustration. Go live somewhere you are not the enemy. Don’t do it.

I have lived in apartments for 2 months. So far this has been my experience. Apartment above me flooded and water busted through my room flooding my bathroom as well (hole is still in ceiling), I have had my toilet stop working 5 times. Maintenance comes and says they are gonna call plumbing but never did. Then my hot water heater busted and flooded into my bathroom. This has literally all happened in two months. Tried to call main office for Lindsey management instead of my apartment manager and got hung up on
