How can depositing checks in drive thru turn in to such a cluster-F !! My wife deposits two checks they put a hold on one and make us drive to Listerhill so they can see my ID they move money around without permission cause accounts to go in the negative that had thousands of dollars in it.Still took 15 minutes waiting for them to fix!

I went to Listerhill to talk to someone about opening an account and when I went in they were all so nice.
Alyssa was very sweet and talked about which account would work best for me and made me feel better about switching banks. I definitely recommend going to her for an account!

I've been banking with Listerhill since 2003- started in the Florence area. When I moved to Athens, I remained with them even though I had to do deposits at another Credit Union. They have ways been very helpful and that's why I haven't switched to another bank.
I like that I'm able to set up the feature to get notified when my account falls below a certain amount. I always look forward to going in the Athens branch, at least twice a month, and being greeted by the two awesome ladies there at the front.

They will try to sell you on their "Safety Net", do not buy it. It is just a way for them to put you in the negative and repeatedly charge you overdraft fees. They also don't automatically set up notifications if your account balance is at zero or in the negative. So you may wake up to find you weren't paid on time, and the bank decided to take 200 dollars in overdraft fees.

They supposedly can't auto decline payment when you have no available balance. While this is true of some specific charges, why is it that my other bank has no problem automatically declining most auto-renewal charges and not charging me thirty dollars in overcharge fees each time.

And all this is capped off by absolutely terrible customer support. The first woman I talked to implied that I intentionally put my account into the negative, and hung up on me when I suggested I would like to talk to someone else. The second woman might as well have been drooling on her keyboard following the script.

Avoid banking here at all costs.

They charged me late fees multiple times on my loan account that is setup on Auto pay. This is the last time they steal my money. I'm moving this loan. I would look elsewhere for your financial needs. Redstone Federal Credit union is much much better. Avoid this institution.
