This is a new start for my son, place was clean and professional except one guy at the door. He seemed inpatient with me for no reason at all. Like I said this is a first in our family and it's not a great start, that just boosted my nerves for my son. We got here early cause I wanted to make sure we don't miss anything, my son said it would start at 8:30 for his Oath Ceremony. We get here they said at 9:30, my son calls me and tells me to go ahead and come in, it was 9, then same dude was like it don't start, I told him my son just called me, he makes sure then let's us in, his facial express was rude! It's 9:30 and we are STILL sitting here in the waiting room!!

MEPS-Little Rock is 1000% nicer today than when I went through its predecessor on my way to RTC-San Diego in 1990. When my son was sworn in at MEPS two years ago, I was blown away with just how nice it was and how comfortable they had made it for families. Proud to be sending another young man through & on to RTC-Great Lakes today. The MEPS facility and its personnel are absolutely outstanding. SO much better than what was essentially a warehouse with cattle chutes running through it. Times do change.

During the physical exam I was told that the proctologist exam was no longer given do to the extended processing time because the Navy kept getting back in line.
I was relieved! Over all it is a nice and clean facility.
