Not a good place to live. I just moved out of one of their locations from being harassed by the property manager stating that I’m not allowed to leave my house in the middle of the night or too late or have company (not even my mother). When i moved in there was no working smoke alarms and my not even 1 year old son at the time was able to just pick up the wood of the base boards and they had huge nails sticking out of them. I was told i could pay to get it fixed and get reimbursed because she was busy for the next couple weeks. Now that i’ve moved out they have no record what so ever of me paying a deposit when I in fact did give a cash deposit to the property manager herself before i was able to move in. During the walk through move out I recorded bc as I stated she has harassed me before and I had no proof from it so i didn’t trust to be alone around her so I recorded. Before she knew I was doing so she was yelling at me telling me to get out and it wasn’t until I told her I had been recording this whole time that she calmed down and decided she was ready to finish the move out. Absolutely the worst ever experience. And yes I spoke with corporate they basically said whatever she says is what they go off of and that their property managers “don’t lie”. But how weird is it that I handed this lady a cash deposit and a year later she says to corporate she never received one from me, but in the video I took she states how much i’d receive back from my deposit?

I have been living at Arlington Manor in Arlington, TN for almost3 years, it's very clicky, and at one point, we did not have a manager for 3 months, we have been through 5 since I have been there, Money, checks, receipt books have disappeared, one mananget wad cought doing cocaine. In the office, Now, that we have a manager, corporate is stating that everyone owes a ridiculous amount of money!!! We are the victims , they are trying to evict me, because my Grandson spent a few days with me and had a seizure because the bugman couldn't finish his job, he did come and spray that day, but he didn't finish because my Grandson was so heavily sedated, from emergency meds, that I couldn't get him up.Patty, the manager said we had to be gone for 4 hours, I explained the situation, my neighbor even tried to help me get him in my car with no success, my ex husband was on his way over to help me, and Patty said to forget it, and started eviction papers, per, corporate, I suggest you don't move to Arlington Manor, they have their picks, court proceedings have already began on both sides, the news will be out at some point today ,

I rented an apartment from this company for six years which I did not damage(though it was very outdated and run down when I moved in). Even with following their ridiculous rules, paying all rent owed, and giving them 30 days notice of my intent to move out, I have not yet received a refund of my security deposit and have been begging them for it for 3 months now and only getting the run around. Other former renters have been nickel and dimed out of theirs. Without listing 50 infractions such as ditching their injured maintenance man who did a great job, I would say overall that this company MACO is shady and overly money hungry. I would NOT recommend anyone rent from this company. There are plenty of other, more reputable and professional companies to deal with.

We have been harassed from day one about everything from our service animals to our guest. We have been accused and written up for things me and my son never did. We were told we were noisy neighbors because we get up at 8 am and live our daily lives until 10PM and our neighbors downstairs work from 530 until afternoon and we disturb their sleep by living our lives. Also we don't own television and they constantly have theirs so loud we hear their movies and their screaming at their children. But the landlord says because they work for the law we are the liars!

Poor poor. They will let everyone go in take what they want after you have been forced out and can't take nothing else out. They took all my big stuff and went through everything then throw stuff away that I wanted. Thing in my bedroom that can't not be replaced. Could have made them haul it to my trailer instead to their own apartment. I had nothing when I moved in there. And have to start all over again.

There isn't enough time to explain what Dawn Simms and Macon Management has done to me. Their lies and abuse landed me in the hospital. They have lied to USDA and HUD and said my issues were resolved (no toilet for seven days, )they let people in my apartment when I was gone and I caught them. Please, stay strong and we can make them accountable.

I am a resident at a property that is managed by Maaco management. There are Elder people and disabled people that live out here. When the snow came the parking lot was still full of ice and snow. A lady here who has home health to come and take care of her got stuck at the end of the parking lot and could not get in here except but to walk. Good thing there's not any emergencies out here right now. And the manager only works a couple of days a week if that and this property is at full capacity. How can you manage a property at full capacity on one to two days a week? You can't very well that's why it's done poorly here. There needs to be a lot of changes made. This is a state facilitated and funded property. You can't tell it.
