Not a huge fan. Commercial lenders need to be more responsive and less reactionary. Also wouldn't be a bad idea to actually look at and ask questions about materials sent.

This is a follow-up to my previous review.

MainStreet Bank contacted me after the review I posted and provided a detailed explanation of everything that transpired, including a sincere apology. I understood the rationale behind the situation. They went above and beyond to make things right, which I appreciate.
This is why I changed my rating to five stars.

This is the worst bank I've ever applied for a loan at. After giving me the runaround for several months, requesting extra paperwork, asking redundant and irrelevant questions (mind you, I never went through this level of headache with any other bank i applied at) and leading me on regarding a commercial loan I applied for, they turn around and reject my commercial loan application.
They should have just rejected the application from the onset instead of putting me through all these hassles, making me spend all that money requesting extra paperwork from the CPA, costing me a wasted hard inquiry on my credit report, and wasting my time and energy the way they did.
I should've just gone with the other offers I received from other banks. A fellow peer of mine who is in the same line of business as I am got approved by MainStreet Bank. But MainStreet Bank rejected my application. Needless to say I won't be working with them ever again regarding getting commercial loans.
