Left customers stranded when Encompass Insurance went out of business and bought out by The National General.

I am in shock and disbelief that an Agent would not send a letter out or notify a client of 26 years to share the information.

My Insurance to all of my automobiles expire at midnight tonight. I went by the office to see why we had not received our proof of insurance records as always sent before and they absolutely had no insurance to follow up with. Told us to go look for our own.

Chris who is working in the office tried to help but told us to call someone else!
I would not use this Agency at all!
Very Sad to Say!!! Martin McNew should be ashamed of allowing good customers to drive with expired insurance and not properly notify us!!! Pitiful!!!

Called the office to let them know I found house insurance (since Encompass is discontinuing and no longer offer this product), was told the Agent was out sick. Called back 2 days later and was told I’d receive something by email. The email I received wouldn’t allow me to esign and informed me that my policy would be prorated ( I contacted them as soon as I received my cancellation letter from McNew about Encompass). I called a few times (left several voicemails) , received no call back, and no one answered the phone since.
