Been a customer for 5 years+, recently purchased a new car and needed to upgrade my insurance. My premium almost doubled! I have a clean record, no tickets, no accidents, NOTHING! So I shopped around trying to find a better deal. Other companies, REPUTABLE companies were giving me quotes from $20-40$ LESS per MONTH for the same coverage! I called to see if there was anything that could be done considering how long I've been with the company and my clean record. Mr. Nicholson proceeded to say nothing can be done for me without removing some of the benefits you have! DO NOT get this insurance! You'll get a better deal elsewhere i promise you!

Can't get an email response or anyone to answer the phone from my agent to the 1800 number. And still nothing. Last time I cancelled my car insurance they continued to charge and then sent it to.collections. why is it so hard to cancel with you guys.

While my car has gone down in value my rates have not. Your competition offers me rates at a lower rate of approximately $40 to $48 dollars a month.

My original agent was fantastic. My current one has no idea who I am.

When I wrote in to question my rate at renewal time, I did not receive a response.

I signed up with them Jan 30 when I bought my new house. Initial signup was great, about 3 weeks later I got a letter saying I was being dropped bc no one would let an agent inside to do an inspection. Now mind you, one agent came on or around Feb 15 and never asked to come inside (modest 2 story home) . No one called, texted or emailed to come inside or arrange anything. I called Allstate they said they’d send someone out later that week for an in home inspection. No one came or called. I took the week off for something else but was home the entire week. A week later got a refund check for full amount if my homeowners insurance saying I’m being dropped. So I got another company. A few days after my last day with Allstate I got a withdrawal for 96$ for that months premium. I didn’t understand but could never really get a straight answer as to why and other things in my life I let it go. Then I get a letter saying. We’ve decided to reinstate you!!! As of April 8th you’ll be covered again! I said NOPE!!! Do not reinstate me!! Then I get a bill for 36$ for the few days they reinstated me!! I said I’m not paying this!! So it got immediately sent to collections! Feel free to email me to explain why y’all cannot get your stuff straight!!! I was really happy with my initial price and coverage and now paying more. A lot more but at least it’s consistent!

Allstate changed my insurance agent and didn't even notify me. I asked to be transferred to an agent from an office near my home and they never answered. I had a minimal crash which presented evidence (the affected person never presented anything) and it was useless because they raised the monthly payment of my policy without the cars having had physical damage and worse the driver. truly disappointed, I will change my policy in a few months.

The worst customer service. Good luck if you can ever get them on the phone... they never answer or emails!! I switched car insurance to Clearcover and am paying 1/3 of what i was paying and have more coverage.

Mr Nicholson and his staff only care to get your money and not commit to verbal agreements, when applying for services with Mr. Nicholson and his staff, they committed and verbally agreed to handle my transition and did not follow through!! After several attempts to communicate and follow up to make sure that he and his staff honor their commitment, Mr. Nicholson and his staff STILL did not honor their original agreement, therefore after this message I am CANCELING MY AGREEMENT WITH MR. Nicholson and his staff!!!

Truly the worst and most unresponsive agent I’ve ever experienced. I don’t know if there is anyone even in the office at this point. They never pick up, don’t respond to email, and never return calls. TERRIBLE.
