Eielson AFB housing is incredible...our family loved living on base! The neighbors are great, the kids had tons of friends. If you are debating to live on or off base and have kids, really consider how harsh winter can be. Kids need to be around other kids, so living on base was the best decision for our family. Mayroad is highly recommended!!!

If you don't have children avoid base housing as you will get the worst houses on base. I lived on base for 1 yr and lost water 9 times.
Heating system was leaking for the majority of my time there and maintenance always left a mess after the repairs that would last at most a month.

Was a decent place to live but these folks are shady. Took a month and a half to get my pro-rated rent back and the entire time, they kept stonewalling me for my money! They did not fix anything and the house had mold all upstairs. When we moved out, they tried to shake you down for money. If you can avoid living here, definitely do so.

Pro: (kinda a pro) You live close to your job, which helps with gas. Decent commissary.

Con: Move out fees are ridiculous, they literally found any little small thing to add up on the price, ( i.e burners on a stove that were used for years, they expect the OUTSIDE trash can to be washed out, charged for water stains in the toilet which was already there upon move in, tried to charge a ridiculous amount for water from a leak on the basement floor which, wasn’t our fault, the base housing is known for flooding, a sweep of LITTLE particles on the basement floor such as paper pieces and dryer lint, and we couldn’t even get the basement finished as promised when we moved in, our basement looked NOTHING like the other homes we visited on base, no carpet, wood or nothing, just cement with stains on it, and dim lights, the list definitely can go on and on). Maintenance spray painted over the mold in our bathroom multiple times, yet they want to charge for stove burners?

The cleaning fees are $60 an hour but if you go back and clean more of it yourself which took us 30mins then they can “remove” the charge. I’m thankful to have lived on this base for the time we did, but the move out was absolutely ridiculous, and definitely not worth it.

We had an AMAZING experience with our "realtor" She answered all our questions and was extremely helpful. She was personable, which can NOT be trained. We needed maintenance acouple of times and during this COVID situation, things were on a bit of a slew however the needed maintenance was done professionally, prominently, and correct the first time around. Understandable, some things that hadn't needed immediate attention is still on hold however we are all dealing with an unusual situation that need patience from company AND tenants. Great Job Eielson staff!!!

Heads up, Corvias has a very “strict” 2 pet max policy. Got our assignment when we had 3 family dogs that had all been with us since they were 6 weeks old. Tried to get an exception to policy to be able to bring all 3 with us, but it got denied because none of them were registered service animals. All 3 are full blooded, registered Siberian Huskies that we love more than most people love their kids. Long story short, we were threatened with being in violation of our lease agreement and being evicted if we didn’t get rid of one of them. Any idea how it feels to be told that you have to get rid of one of your family members or risk being homeless? Thanks Paige Ellsworth, neighbors, and Corvias for helping us start this assignment off in the worst way possible!

Best staff we have ever encountered!!!! This was a very stressful PCS and we were expecting a stressful housing experience however this was by far the best experience we have ever had. I cant thank this staff (one definitely in particular) enough. Huge kudos to Eielson’s Corvias Staffing!!!! Beautiful house and easy contracting in process.

Excellent on base residential facilities for military personnel and their families. Despite being rolled out of bed by F-16's thundering off the runway, I still found these units to be great places to live. Oh, the pilots gave little sympathy about morning thunder and seemed to enjoy the attention.
