My 'go-to' bank is the Mechanic Bank in Albany at the corner of Washington and San Pablo. However, I want to give a 5-star review to Francie Esparza, who has done incredible troubleshoots for my direct deposits to various parties. I have unfortunately encountered incompetent or careless 'online staff' who misled me about a couple of direct deposits I made and caused major setbacks and time loss. After getting help from Francie, those troubles no longer existed, and my transactions have improved since.

!!!!!!This bank was very disappointing and disrespectful to go to. If you want your account information shared out loud for the whole bank to hear this is the place! If you want to be questioned and judged the whole time this is the place! The bank teller openly said if they don’t recognize you as a frequent customer they will/have to treat you differently like an imposter or a fraud. I was disrespected and exposed. Be careful at this location! Go to the solano one for better care and SAFER practices!!!!!

Wanted to change a typo on my debit card name. Was told to take a seat in the waiting area. I did, I was alone. The workers in the cubicles were chatting it up (no problem) figured they were working on other things and would get to me when they could. A few minutes go by and another customer comes in straight to them and asked if they could help or if she had to wait (because I was clearly there waiting for help.) The lady in the cubicle told her to come right and take a seat. Completely blew me off. Either make a line system or tell your workers to pay attention to who’s in the lobby. SMFH. Couldn’t help but notice the customer she offered to help was YT and I was not. Either willful ignorance or bias. Whatever it was. Never coming here again.

I love this branch of Mechanic's Bank. Ther staff here is great, they are always friendly & helpful. There is a parking lot, bonus! I love the drive through teller window & drive through ATM as well, but most of all I love that when I have to go inside there is never more than one person in front of me. Great branch!!

This bank used to be the best like everything else that follows wokeism policy’s this banks managment at the top is so bias, I was a member since eleven An just because I got irate for constantly renewing my debit card they didn’t like it An kicked me out of being a member, kind of sounds familiar, the old tweeter ways, sensor my voice, this bank grew for corporate An not for customers
