Please DO NOT BANK HERE! This is my first experience with using a small local bank. And the customer support is disgusting. I disputed fraud charges made by Enterprise Rent A Car who auto charged my account for almost $900 worth of tolls when I only incurred just over $400 in tolls. I disputed the charges in September-ish Midland at first said no prob...Credited my account back $383. Today, they reversed all of the credits and removed that money from my account stating that Enterprise provided proof that I was in possession of their vehicle. I tried to dispute Midland's decision stating that a rental contract provided by Enterprise only proves that I drove the car, it doesn't prove that I incurred those charges...They didn't want to hear my proof at all! Asya (employee) actually laughed at me when I called, until I told her that I live 5 minutes away and we could have this conversation in person...That shut her up. Long story short, they will screw over their customers because they are a small bank and can't afford to loose money in disputes. My advice BANK BIG! I've used Chase & BOA in the past and had stellar customer service. I tried to support local...Big mistake. I will be taking my banking elsewhere immediately!

Last year, I was very frustrated with Midland after they bought out Alpine. I was not able to contact a person directly at the bank, and I was angry that my professional account was turned into a personal account. Since I was too busy to switch banks, I am still with them today.

But now I'm glad I am! It seems that Midland has heard our complaints and made improvements. Now when I call, I get straight through to my branch and get my questions answered right away! Yay! Also, It's hard to beat their hours... love the fact that they offer later drive up hours! The staff is very friendly. I really haven't encountered a staff member who wasn't friendly and thorough.

I had to make a drop for work a while back since my job uses Midland unfortunately. I hand them the deposits and switch out big bills for smaller ones and they give me the bag back and told me to have a nice day and I assumed they but the cash in there along with the deposit receipts so I get back to work and they forgot the smaller bills so I had to go back cause that would have made us over $200 short. Couple weeks later I go back for the same reason and they forgot the cash again! You can't make those types of mistakes at any business let alone a bank!

My review it's not towards this location directly but rather Midland States Bank itself in whole.

I've been with Alpine Bank for 17 years before it's switched to Midland States Bank and I can honestly say and this is not the employees, rather Midland itsself.
After it changed hands, it had 100% lost that home town feel because if big corporate changes in alot of things I liked that Alpine Bank had in place.

I love all the employees and don't blame any of them nor any location specific, Midland ruined that small home town feel.

I banked with alpine bank since I was 16 years old. I am 34 now and closed my account today. Things just aren’t the same as when it was alpine now that it’s midland.
I made a misstep and overdraft my account. In which I take responsibility for. But during these times when there is a pandemic going on and things are a little tight I had hoped they would work with me. I was asking for a comprise like 50 percent of the fees removed. They wouldn’t budget. I paid the fees but will never again do business with Midland.

The customer service was amazing! My son had issues with fraud & money being taken from his account (his fault) and they fixed it right away, got his money back and made him new debit cards, also closed old account & opened new one. Very kind & professional! They went above & beyond! Great service!
